Thank feck i wasnt wearing me leather gimp mask and harness hahaaha. She getting on good with the hob...no bickering between them and hes so bleedn g soft im surprised how good he is in a set....certainly bolts them. I'll leave her off working i think till i get her done and let her have her horomone explosions the bite she gave me earlier wasnt a nip if iwasnt so bloody quick and she didnt cop onto my knuckle i'd say it would have been a proper lock on to my finger.......and i know how bloody painful that is from past experience with a mates stinker.

The Environment Department has issued a travel warning due to the snowfall and bad road conditions. They suggest that anyone traveling in the current icy conditions should make sure they have the following: Shovel, Blankets or sleeping bag, Extra clothing including hat and gloves24 hours worth of food,De-Icer, Rock Salt, Torch with spare batteries, Road Flares or Reflective Triangles, Petrol can, First Aid Kit, Booster cables. I looked like a bloody idiot on the bus this morning!

Jst been in there with hr ...took her out by herself and left the hob inside. She still skitish, let her run around a fair bit before handing her too much. Fecker still got me with her teeth whilst was checking her over.......luckily was on the knuckle pretty sure she would have locked on otherwise. Scruffed her and she calmed down afterwards but still went a few times for my hand. More relaxed when i put her in the housing, and didnt do a kamikaze jump at me. Stayed for a while and rubbing her through the mesh on the front of the housing and she was fine. Still going to get her done pretty so

Nah mate nothing that i know off, may have been something but i didnt hear anything ....unless something fell over in the shed!! Gotta go do an electrical job in a while when i get back gonna take her out and give her a good looking over and see how she reacts.

Hahahha i got one of them.....she goes mad for it. And i dont wear rubber i like leather trainers........now my rubber suit on the other hand...oops wrong site for that talk :whistling: :D Shes used to playing and never uses her teeth .....its the pure hissing and snapping that concerns me......dont fancy putting my hand in a set for her to latch onto me. Hopefully a one off.

No she seems to be eating fine, was there yesterday with them and they were both eating well together. Was handling her yesterday and found no signs of anything wrong with her.....totally threw me when she latched onto my trainers....thank feck i werent wearing me slippers. She likes a bit of rough play but she doesnt use her teeth, her claws are normal in her play just cant get me head round how overnight she flipped the lid.

I keep my stinkers in my brick shed with there own housing inside it. My jill has always been a bit of a live wire but today she lost the plot completely. I let them run around the shed when im cleaning them out and feeding them. I let them both out and the hob does his usual thing, climbing my leg till i pick him up, very affectionate for a hob and does like the attention. The jill just went straight for my feet and sunk her teeth into my trainers and latched on. Trying to get her off was a nightmare, when she finally got off she sarted the war dance and attacking my feet, went to pick her up

So replaced the Thermostat, flushed the rad through and put new gasket on the water pump and put back on. Let the car warm up sat on the drive way to let the air get out of the system so no air blockages. Warmed up nicely, took her for a drive around for a few miles all round town so too give it a good test. All good temp guage is staying just below the half way mark, heating is working better than ever and got back to check for any leaks from the thermostat housing and new gasket.....none. So happy chap, saved myself a few quid rather than taking it to the garage to get done.....saw one q

Peelers don`t feed during this stage, try under rocks, holes in estury banks and under seaweed i didnt think they fed as there they have no protection against other preditors thats why they hide away till there new outer shell hardens and seen this with lobsters so the experts on tv must be wrong then lol Your forgetting one inmportant point............these are Irish crabs....enough said :whistling: :laugh: Ive had a fair few peelers like this over the last couple of years. But the tyres are the best technique for the peelers.

Bolted one the other day on new permission....farmer told me there is loads on the land ....so hopefully i'll bag one next week when out . Never had one before and actually first time seeing one too.

Its a petrol. We dont have MOT centres like they do in the u.k .....and a garage would probably charge me more than the pump and thermosta put together. I'll put it back together and see how it goes. At least its narrowed it down if it still isnt fixed. Surely they do emission tests? You use the exhaust probe and hold it just above the expansion tank (with the cap off) and it will measure how many hydrocarbons there is, the less the better. I'll see how it goes when i put her back together tommorrow morning ......if it plays up i'll check around for someone to do it .....but they

Its the Gasket on the water pump that was leaking not the head gasket.....chrcked around the head just in case and totaly dry............would scrap it if it came to that

If it was just the seal then surely the pump would still be pumping a certain amount of water around the engine? If the belt is turning and the pump is still turning freely then i cant see it being the cause of it....may be wrong, if the thermostat wasnt openning and the pump is turning it would cause a build up of pressure especially with the temp getting to max therefore blowing the gasket.

Aye did think of that too.....flushed the radiator completely just in case and it was pretty clean compared to some ive done. Will put the pump back on tommorrow ....thats a job in itself on this motor, really not looking forward too it.......hopefully it was just the pressure blowing the gaskt. A new pump is only €50 but if i dont need it then rather not spend it

Got a 2000 Almera and had trouble with the heating not working properly. Then this week the temp guage went into the red drove it home and checked the pipes from the rad.....the top pipe is roasting and the bottom pipe is cold. So i assumed the thermostat wasnt openning. Had to pick kids up so took the car oly a shrt trip, but the guage went right into the red. When i stopped the water was literally boing out of the water bottle reservoir. And noticed a drip coming from near the waterpump too. So today i took out the thermostat and replaced it. Ive taken the waterpump off and whats pu
