When I was alive I used to work on a club with twelve other doorman ,most of them where big impressive looking fellas muscles on muscles ,made me feel a bit dumpy if I'm honest , at the same time I used to look after a big old boozer that did a mad Monday cheap beer night that could get a bit hectic, especially as I was solo there ,when I wanted to go on holiday I couldn't get one of the big useless b*****ds to stand in for me .

If your in a competitive sport ,I always think you should aim for the stars ,if you don't strive to go beyond your capabilities you will never know how good you are ,those that succede never have the "I did well to get this far " attitude ,we should admire those sportsmen ,but I honestly believe the public generally feel a bit of resentment ,born out of envy and an awareness that most don't possess this mindset , If Leicester had collapsed in the last few weeks and came second ,I truly believe they would of been ridiculed by the press and sections of the public for having the cheek to think t

Col D Hancock's books are well worth a read ,they are well researched and debunk a few of the often repeated myths that a lot of books just blindly repeat ,far and away the best books out there for people interested in the working dog .

I think the theory is ,the sooner the dog is struggling ,finding it hard going ,running out of steam etc then a person can judge whether it can has what it needs to have ,getting a dog in condition for this test just means it takes the dog longer to get to that stage , hence testing unconditioned dogs against bigger ,fitter dogs .

Max ,game dogs are "game tested " when they are out of condition on purpose .

I think sometimes it may well be a mental disorder , but other contributory factors are youth,good old fashioned stupidity ,stubbornness ,arrogance ,ignorance ,vanity ,lack of social skills ,jealousy ,and a word I v just made up wannabeeness. because I am an expert at making words up.

You will find rollers a lot easier to break in than racers ,in the past I have flew new birds with an established kit after two days .

The good thing about this season with LCFC probably winning the title and WHU probably getting a European place ,is it should make other teams aim for the stars ,stop whinging about wealth and being happy with mid table and safety and aim higher ,it would be good to see some surprises every season.
