We were just conserving our energy for the bigger games ahead, it's a marathon not a sprint and we realised that early on... No need to waste energy against losers like England....I'm worryingly enjoying my stint as a Welshman lol Both wrong you are. We felt sorry for you we did, we knew if you didn't beat us you'd struggle to qualify. We had plenty in the tank and we were confident we could still go through. The generation before me were usually passionate in their belief that Marciano or Louis would have no trouble with "the clay fella " or anybody else ,they could reel off all their ko s and tell you how good they were in certain fights ,but here's the thing ,very few of them had seen more than a brief glimpse of their heroes on newsreels at the cinema ,big fights they were gathered round the wireless ,some of them had never even seen them ,yet argued you could tell just as much about them on the wireless !!!

Nothing wrong with poetry ,its not all macho stuff ,a love of the chase goes hand in hand with a love of nature and a love of all wildlife ,that's a lot of love , A well written poem can capture those ,sometimes conflicting emotions we all feel ,it can hold a mirror to your own soul ,it can resonate with you in personal ways that no conversations ever could ,it can move you emotionally and sometimes enable you to see and understand things more clearly. Some poetry is shit though

Max ,the thing is your argument is on a public forum ,people can't help reading it and forming an opinion so its a bit unfair to describe those who don't agree with you as "joeys and ass lickers " Personally if I got into a heated argument on here ,then anything I say to someone I am prepared to say it to their face ,whatever the consequences may be ,I would find looking myself in the mirror difficult otherwise .

Non of the England players draw a wage ,it all goes to a charity ,Gary Neville organised it when he was playing for them , If you give them a good strong manager ,a settled system they all know and trust ,play them in their best positions ,I believe they would be in the top six teams of world football . This is only my own very humble opinion ,and by no means a fact .
