Your right mate ,..it's big business ,wether old farts like me like it or not ...but I can't help feeling that success should evolve ,it should be hard fought and difficult to get otherwise it's not worth having ,nowadays the craving for instant gratification a la man city and Chelsea gets up my nose ,it's in all walks of society ,from the athlete who juices up as a short cut to the young singers who let louis Walsh bum them on x factor ...it's just my own humble view ,,,,,,the sooner the bubble bursts and the money men tuck off the better I will like it .

Of course it is mate ,I'm not suggesting anyone should just settle , there are a list of clubs who should be aiming for the top four in my opinion ,but if and when a club gets success ,I'm romantic enough to think it should be by having a football vision and ethos ,by shrewd long term investment ,by slowly building an infrastructure and identity ,by being brave and bold , and daring to try ...not by business men proudly creating business models and brands .... Leicester is a perfect example of the former ,a mid sized club ,not pretending to be anything they're not .

I think maybe it's a generational thing ,I bet your younger supporters are gagging to be considered equal to spurs or arsenal and can't see any advantage in being a niche club with its own special identity ,I know older evertonians who are happy to be a Scousers only supported club ,they look down their collective (blue ) noses at Liverpool's wooly back support ,the younger ones can't wait to get new ground and be a " global brand " .....to a greater or lesser degree that type of scenario is being played out all over the place ...I don't know what's right or what's wrong but I do know some clu

I doubt Leicester have the strength of squad to get the title ,but liverpoo l are looking a bit tired /jaded /stale and I can see them losing a couple of games in December , man city can put a 15/16 game winning run together ,it could get interesting .
