    Good thread this ,there is n Oak nearby that is over thousands years old ,I have spent many happy hours gazing at it ,I take a leaf off it every now and again ( I use them as bookmarks ) ,personally I think the relationship with the oak and the people of these isles goes beyond iconic or much loved ,I think there is a spiritual connection ,it provides or has provided food ,fuel and shelter for millennium s ,but it satisfies a deeper need in us , it has the attributes of a parent ,it is strong ,it endures ,it is ever present ,and being close to one makes a British blooded person ,feel safe ,fee

    While that insult is straight to the point ,has the advantage of brevity and is not without its own brand of coarse humour , it's not up to the standards demanded on the general section .bear in mind that your aim should be to be as offensive as possible whilst also being slightly witty ( subtle innuendos can be very effective ) .I suggest you read Greb and Maxs verbal rally to give yourself an idea of the standard required .

    Be very careful taking the piss out of airgunners mate ,believe me ,..they will start a topic about you in the air gun section ,usually titled , "General section at it again " ,then they all put their cammo gear on ,blacken the face ,adjust scrims and type some really hurtful things about you ,they are wound up tight and not afraid to call you things like "uneducated" or " bloody fool " Just a friendly warning before you open your pms .
