    Indescribable horrific conditions for sure ,years of death and suffering ,and yet as a youngster there were still plenty of veterans of ww1 about ,I can't remember one of them ever moaning about it ,my grandad was badly wounded on the Somme but he kept us entertained for hours with funny stories ,he even made getting shot sound funny ! Some of the old boys about were decorated heroes yet I never heard any of them brag .Every time some prick sneers at the term ' for queen and country ' I think about these men and can't help feeling unworthy of them ,God bless them all .

    Greg Clarke the chairman of the FA has resigned ,( nope I never heard of him either )but reading it on the bbc website I was warned that the report contained offensive language .......not language that some may find offensive but the real deal offensive stuff ...bit disappointed that the offensive term he used was " coloured footballers ".....even wishy washy ,sit on the fence ,tolerant ,old fashioned liberal types like me must wonder....where the fuk was my brain for the last thirty years ?

    We may be talking at cross purposes mate ,,I believe that setting someone a simple task and then watching how they go about it ,will give you an insight of that man's character ...I don't know anything about business or hiring people but if I was looking for a trustworthy chap ,then no I wouldn't hire the Hoover man ,but if for some reason I needed the services of ruthless ,to the point ,no fukn about with me ,maverick type ,then he may be in with a shout .

    I like the sweeping the floor analogy ,it is a bit like people watching ,some people do it meticulously ,and are thorough ,some people try shortcuts or innovation to make it easier ,some get really artistic and want to do it with style and some will do a half arsed job some will work fast some will work slow and every other difference you can think of it can tell you about a person's character ,all you have to do is watch .
