    I have a captive bolt, discrete, no risk, very fast, efficient. The animal don't suffer. Some use a 9mm rifle here, more dangerous if you are in group. Some others use a dagger after stunned the game but you must be very familiar. We never leave a living badger to the dogs.

    At the beginning, I thought hose was a stupid and needless gadget. We begun to use hose in order to listen to the dog. You can't locate but listen what happens. Further, we spoke to the dog through the hose to encourage him. Go on ! You can use the hose in the sand to keep some air for the dog in case of collapse, very efficient.     The first one is in Fontainebleau Forest, the east of paris. Very well known. The Rally Fontainebleau is hunting deer. There is another very famous crew on the deer in the same place : Rallye Tempête.

    Yes I know, Foxdropper. Consequently, we don't dig exactly the same way. Here we can do it with a lot of curious, wives and children. There is a kind of meeting for a dig. The other great difference is the time. In France, we like take all our time. With good dogs, we let the dog work a good time while we're eating. Sometimes, we are a bit slow. In England, you are quicker. May be you are in a hurry to finish. So, it's a matter of sport. In France, an old one-armed man can do a good terrierman.

    You can dig nutria (or coypus) with a dog, it's easier than badgers. In France some meetings are organized to hunt nutria with dogs.

    According to french criteria, at least 9 different kinds of dogs are named Griffon.     20 kg. They are heavier in october / may, 1/3 more. This year we have a lot of little badgers, less than 10 kg. But they seem in good health. We send some in laboratory for analysis, no problem detected. Sometimes You try to be serious but you say nonsense... Last saturday, i compared my old mechanical peson with an electronic peson. Mine was three kg under the right weight. So all the measures of the season are probably incorrect. Badgers was heaviers than i thought.

    The middle of september is the beginning of venerie. The Hounds are ready to hunt deers, boars, foxes, hares or rabbits. A pregnant bitch tried to go with the pack.     Here, i Do it myself during the five first days, very easy and absolutely no pain for puppies. Strange time ... Humans are increasingly transformed by cosmetic surgery, piercing, lippo-sucking, breast implants, sex change ... You can do what you want and some girls even feel obliged to do so. But cut a small piece of the dog's tail is a crime.
