    Ie got to the stage in my life where im thinking i should have done this before,so im going to put the wheels in motion.     Will the action perform better than new once you have fettled it?.Of course it will,and thats just the bloody point.So by the time you have finished you will have a better rifle than new,which will save you ££££ from buying new.

    I have a 1989 HW77k .177 that is supposed to have been fettled before i became the owner.It has an early brass cocking aid on and some brass bits.It has virtually zero recoil,and i often wonder what it would be like after an SFS tune. At 49 years of age i have never found the need to buy a new rifle,and im 100% sure i never will !.Theres enough second hand bargains to be had on the net,or your local rifle shop without having to pay through the nose.     The same complaint about Weihrauch QC has been droning on for a long while now,on the Weihrauch forum.The common thread amongst most Weihrauch owners these days is buy second hand,as the quality of the internals and the overall finish of the rifle are superior to new !. Ive heard of several e mails that have been sent to Weihrauch regarding piss poor QC over the last few years,but to date Weihrauch has chosen to ignore any of the customers issues.

    Have you got sufficient drainage alongside your extension?.We were getting intermittent smells near our back window in the living room,and at times the smell was horrendous.It got that bad i dreaded a knock on the door because of the smell.After a couple of years of tradesmen taking a look etc we finally took a brick out of the wall.The rain had been collecting under the house for god knows how long and it had to be drained out. To combat this we had french drains put in that made no difference at all,and i got sick of seeing muppet tradesmen scratching their heads.Its not smelled for several

    Yep dumb names and dumb prices,but they are only doing what dog men have been doing for years.Cross breeding to get the best characteristics of both dogs,to do certain jobs.Some are used as alert dogs,and some are bred to shed little hair etc.Some of the crosses are fantastic little dogs like Jackapoos,but all of them are overpriced and shouldnt sell for more than a couple of hundred quid tops.

    The vet let me take her home a couple of hours after the op,as he knew the care and attention i would give her would benefit her more.I stayed up for 4 nights nursing her and as of yesterday i have my dog back to normal.Shes responded daily by improving by leaps and bounds,and the stitches are still a week from coming out. I know ive been very lucky,and wanted this thread to warn others about the real possibilities.

    You may be right,it could be more common in Bull breeds.Its just something that you dont think of though,so once warned dont take it for granted they will be ok. Its a killer,and it all started with an infection in her Uterus which spread through her body causing septicemia.If your animal isnt insured,a grand is a wedge a lot of people dont have access to with respect.I know ongoing treatment for broken limbs would cost 4 or 5 times that,which in most cases a lot of people would have to put the animal to sleep.
