Well, the time has come to be able to take my 2 girls out for their first trip. Got a small number of holes on a cider mill. Bunnies are stripping her trees of bark and getting close to her paddocks. Hope to get a report up tomorrow.

Being a newbie here myself I have found the profiles handy as I never realized there were others from North Devon on here. Was beginning to think I was the only one.

Anything is possible, My old man made a trailer to carry surfboards to the beach 5 miles from home when I was younger. Made from an old wire bread basket, couple of wheels from an old kids bike. cost to build was minimal as he used what we had around.

Would have loved to take her off your hands mate, but too far to travel living in North Devon. Hoping our 2 girls are grafters, will find out soon.

Whats wrong with keeping them in the house? Our 2 jills and hob are indoors. We let them have a runaround the house for a few hours or till they crash then pop em back in their cages.

Hi all, Introducing myself and my carpet sharks, 2x pole jills (Pogo and Freya 8mths) and silver hob (Jasper 15wks) Intending to start working them on a couple of permissions I have in the area soon. Took a while to get the wife to agree to keeping one ferret but went to see them and ended with a pair Seemed a shame to just keep Jills so decided on a Hob to keep them in check. . Not much info around or people who work/keep them in my area. It seems to thin out the further south you go, but I'm hoping its gonna be worth it. Having read through a few good threads on here there seems
