Could a few of you lads show me your dog pens as i wanna make my own for 2 dogs soon so i need a few ideas. Also if i build it myself what do you think it would cost me? Cheers.

Cheers for the help so far lads here's a couple of pictures i had him out earlier and i think he's knocked abit of the scab off so that's why it looks like it's bleeding abit on one of them.

it should have healed ages ago "a few months ago" if its not healing it could well be infected and need to go to the vets, if you mean its healed and theres a lump this again could be an infection or just scar tissue hard to say with seeing it It has healed like it has scabbed over but it sometimes knocks the scab off now and agen and yeh i think the lump is just scar tissue.

I'm new to the lurcher game and mine cut his ear on a barbed wire fence a few months ago. I let it heal naturally after i cleaned it for the first few weeks with antiseptic spray. Anyways i'm wondering if its healed properly. It doesn't seem to be hurting him but it looks bad after its scabbed up. And he's got a small lump just above the cut. Is this normal, or have you got any advice on how i can make it heal properly.

All right what's your opinion on this gun and how much would you pay for it maximum when it's second hand. I'm new to air rifles so i don't wanna have my hand pulled off in price when buying one cheers.

Isnt their anything on ebay that i could use for my kennel this shredded wax paper sounds good but havent got a clue where to get it. Atm i just use cut up foam camping mats with a couple of the cheap duvets from asda.

I think i've sort of worded my first post wrong. He's a good dog caught many of rabbits already, he's just a bit ignorant sometimes. Basic stuff like Sit, stay ect.. i dont care about but his recall isnt as bad as what i think i've said it is. He comes back once i've slipped him and the rabbit may have got lucky it's just when he does catch he tends to run away from me like as if he wants me to chase him or something.

Well he comes back when i've shouted him its just when he catches something he decides to do on haha and starts mauling it.

Okay so my lurcher is 14 month old now, mentally he's still a puppy but physically looks like an adult. Anyway his last owner didn't really teach him recall or to do basic dog training like sit, stay ect.. Anyway I've sort of being teaching him, will his recall come more natural as he catches more or will i need to train it? If so how? Also is he too old to be taught to sit and stay because I've been teaching him for the past 2 days and he's been getting the hang of it. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers

and tens of thousands of pounds to repair the damage when it sets on fire or blows up :laugh: Plus a little trip to the burns unit, then off to the beauty therapist to get your eyebrows drawn on :laugh: mine was only £50 new :laugh: fook creating a bomb to save £20 Exactly man just buy a motorbike battery or something or even a 2nd hand lithium one off of the forums on here and it will be so much easier for you.

Better off just buying a battery tbh with you mate much less hassle and effort and they aren't that expensive really.

A farmer once put a gun to my mates head and to he's dogs. He said shoot me and theirs loads of witnesses here so you'll be done for murder. And shoot my dog and ill burn your barn down and kill all your sheep, he never bothered him again after that. -
Is the best way for a dog to get fit is taking him on the beach? Like to build muscle and have more stamina. If not any other suggestions. Cheers Here's a pic of him.

I've seen and used all Lance. Striker and Blitz and then the Deben tracer variable 170 and it was my favourite out them all costs abit more than the striker but the dimmer is really use full on it. As for lance its too small and pointless imo. Striker is good, same as the tracer just I prefer tracer as its variable and for me the blitz is too big its like holding a satellite dish. any 14ah battery will do the job but the lighter the better if you don't want a bad back the next day from carrying it around all night.
