  4. Nice dog is he straight saluki whippet.?
  5. If the saluki whippet runs with you and the land you intend to hunt and it is successful then go for him. Seen a few saluki whippet types make handy dogs, 100% excitement. Proper whizz bangers.
  6. Mine out of him last season...
  7. Very bad injury and even if the dog does run again will suffer from arthritis. And there's a a big chance he won't run again, maybe get a second opinion and take it from there

  10. Seen 4 dogs go off him and they done the trick for first season dogs. I also no a few lads with dogs off him and they rate them these lads wouldn't keep shit.
  11. I have some Carl I'll what's app u them lad
  12. why not a saluki dog over a bull bitchAgree. I would prefer out of a bull bitch myself.
  13. Would love to own a cross of this type in the future, and like mud says maybe lean to the 3/4 bred. I think they could be handy in the right hands and use correctly. And I also think they could add something different to a good line of working lurcher. I seen 2 a good few years back now both where 6 months old litter brothers, they had chests like a tank and loads of length. Don't no how they turned out tho or any picks. Would love to see some of them if any one has any and what kind of land they're successful on and quarry.
  14. It crossed my mind but didn't like to say Same here.
  15. Sounds like the local terrier man wants to put you off. I've had and done both, and like Roy you don't need to work your dogs 7 days a week. You'll be fine with one decent lurcher and a terrier or 2. To be honest I miss having a terrier about, if you have some decent ground and land then 100% go for it.
