your spooking them . maybe lampshy . what candle power lamp you using , it may be overpowering them , i use the deben tracer max with a red filter mounted on the scope . i really rate filters , if you cant buy one make one . as already been said , wind direction is key , so are you noise wise and smell . how many times are you lamping the same piece of land ???.

nice shooting AC -- any news on them carts , i,ve ran out , i,ll have to nip to walkers for a few . Darren . -
no signs of anything yet , i reckon this must be a phantom although she is still nest building , i put my hand in the nest box and she nipped my finger . strange - usually real friendly . anyway took her out and checked the box , nothing there . odd thing is while handling her she climbed on to my shoulder and bit my ear lobe just a nip . very strange behavier indeed. anyway handled her again this morning and she was fine .

if my jill is in kit . ( this is a possibility , as i found her as wild ) what should and should,nt i do heard stories of them eating there young etc . she comes out twice a day , should i stopped handling her .

i caught her stashing some food -- does this mean anything . if she is in kit , then i have no idea when they will arrive , how shall i prepare . getting nervous now .

she was out of season by the second day that i had her , i think shes just a greedy bugger do you think i,m overfeeding her ( diet in above post ) ???. always seems hungry.

this jill i have is putting on weight rapidly . a bit too rapidly me thinks she came out of season 2 days after i found her her belly is growing alot her teats are visible she makes a nest with the hay and news paper this morning she had a string of clear-ish discharge from her vulva dont think i,m over feeding her , but could be wrong diet:- one fork of minced lean beef per day dried ferret food in a small dish ( about a large hand full ) bits of fresh rabbit ( but only at weekend ). any thoughs

shot a few rabbits last night , popped a gutted one in her gage , bloody great buck twice size of her . she latched on to it and dragged it away in to her hidy hole .
