  2. What cross? Is he from a litter near Darwen?
  3. Walk out with my two pups and a pal's whippet pup. Theyre all under the age of 23 week. My boy rocked up out of nowhere with this wee thing in his mouth. He was one chuffed dog. He ran around showing off while the other two chased him. They aren't working dogs so I'm not too fussed about spoiling him. These things happen http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr293/nickdonboy/Mobile%20Uploads/th_Snapchat-5158094243699395287.mp4 Heres my youngest pup Penny being a weirdo
  4. Does your dog usually eat raw nick? They sure do. Got em on ground chicken and tripe mince daily, with lamb offal once a week. I chuck whatever fruit and veg I have in most days. They're eating better than me, ha. I use Vitalin puppy kibble as a mixer.
  5. Yeah man, I'm a barf noob so a bit skeptical still. No regrets changing to raw though. Thanks for the input.
  6. Reckon it's good to go raw once defrosted?
  7. Bought some mixed scraps from the butchers. Its already frozen, how soon can I give it raw to the dogs? The meat is pretty fresh, has only been frozen for about a week.
  8. And recall is perfect, even with distractions of immediate vicinity
  9. I have a 18 week old male pup and a 12 week old female, both saluki crosses. Can't complain at all. I'm a first time dog owner so I suppose I've been lucky. Early days though. I've been training separately, together and with other dogs/animals around. Stock broken, sit, down, stay, fetch (12 week girl isn't fetching yet). Won't touch their food until I tell them to. So far so goooood.
  10. I'm a softie too. I've been walking the wee one about twice a day for 15 minutes. Otik my older boy gets a bit longer, an hours walk at slow pace. I just carry Penny, the young'un, ha. I think it's good for them seeing the big wide world at an early age, finding that balance of stimulation is key although I do walk\train them separately at times. Patience, consistency, persistence and routine. Fingers crossed I will have well behaved dogs
  11. So, I have a 10 week old pup and a 17 week old pup. As you can imagine 2 pups is a handful however I really can't complain how field and house training is going. How many of you guys have house dogs? I try and keep 'home time' as calm as possible. Not letting them get too carried away when they're playing. I don't give them unlimited access to toys so playtime is on my terms and normally used to stimulate training in the field which seems to be working pretty well. To prevent chewing and any mouthy negative behaviours in the house I give them chews like beef trachea and raw b
