    Thanks for the advice. He's my first pooch. Have you ever owned a saluki cross? Yes I have,....but I no longer need to take the Valium... Seriously,...with regards to lurchers,..I am keen on the Herding composites,...they suit me,...but many years ago I relied on a Saluki hybrid to keep me alive.... Great years, dangerous dark nights,... I genuinely owe the breed so much..... That's a nice way to put it. I use "wait there" if they're too far ahead of me My younger pup is half saluki and is a lot less biddable. Still coming on well though, copying my older one just not as sha
