As the title says, it's gone quick seems only like yesterday I joined. Come across a lot of characters and pointed in the right direction plenty of times by good folk willing to share knowledge and time. Even though there have been and always plenty of spats on a site this big I'm continuously impressed by the way the hunting community comes together for others in time of need. Just about to turn the meat down before I take the pup for a walk then come back and drink some nice beer and finish off the beer. My toast will be "For God, Ulster and the Republic" lol. For my lowas I use nicwax cleaner then lowa conditioner then nicwax waterproofer finishing off with a polish using Kiwi parade gloss.

Precisely, you don't but the big farms damned well do as it allegedly helps the animals put on weight faster. It plays havoc with certain medical conditions like IBS, Chrohns and colitis too! That is why we buy from where we do as it does not aggravate Mary's Chrohn's disease and means she can have steak! It also tastes nicer and becuase we are buying directly from the supplier, he makes more money! A Lad i whent to school with suffers from chrohns and he buys a bit of mutton from me for that reason. What would be a good machete or axe to get? My local hardware shop has the bear grylls machete but don't know of any reviews on those gerber blades. There are loads of good brands out there mate you just need to find one that suites your purpouse. If your not going to be felling trees then you don't need a great big axe ... Gerber are a tried and tested make ... You won't go far wrong with those ... My axe and kukri were made by midnight off here ... One offs and and brilliant at their jobs ........
