  1. Thank you guys for all your help I'm off to Treetops on Sunday for a baptism of fire on the HFT corse with an S400 rental. See what happens Rob.
  2. Thank you for your help, that Treetops place looks awesome !!! Maybe a Rapid 12 would be the way to go, and expect to pay somebody good it sort it?? I didn't know there was a Rapid forum ?? Thanks again. Rob.
  3. How can I try a few? No shop around here that I know of lets you try before you buy. I know absolutly nobody that shoots air rifels. I guess I'll have to ring the gun shop in Newport to ask where there is a range that shoots air rifles. When I do find one, I can't see people queuing up to let me try their guns, or will they?? I live in South Wales (Cwmbran) is there anybody here that is local'ish ? I've only got one pile of cash to spend, I can't afford to chop and change like many do.
  4. I'm a little stuck ?? I would like to buy a gun that is still made, unlike the Rapid 12. If I bought a Rapid 12, it would have to be second hand. I know good deals are to be found, but I could easily buy myself a dog. I really can't get my head around a HW100, even though it may well be the best gun !! The shops I have asked say buy the Air Ranger, but I've read they can be iffy and I don't want to hold the bottle (I tend to like to place my hand well down the stock) The AA510 seems nice, but again, I readf qulity issues? Maybe buy another Falcon?? are they any good? My old FN
  5. Thank you for the help. I did hold an HW100 in the shop. The stock felt to low, but I keep hearing how good they are. Can you get after market stocks for the HW100? If yes, where and what do they look like? Thanks,
  6. Hello, This is my first post, so HELLO I have a question that I'm finding hard to figure out. I have had air guns on and off over the years, my last being a Falcon FN19 (walnut and all the trimmings). It's been some years now since I sold it, but want another PCP. I've boiled my option down to a Daystate Air Ranger or Air Arms 510. These are both high quality guns as you'll know. But my question is :- What brand is the more reliable ? I have read bits and bobs saying the Daystates are fantastic guns, if you get a good one !, but I can't find anything saying Air Arms having
