  1. great stuff mate. Only the fast ones left this time of year too. looks promising. lovely pup an all mate, pure saluki?
  2. By the sounds of it you wont have any problem. With the time and effort you sound like you've put in, they'll come good when they're put to a rabbit...or erm, anything else Yeah there is a difference between putting time into your dogs and getting them outside, and a lap round the golf course once a day isnt there.
  3. spot on. how've they been to train, time consuming..? A lot of lads who are 'for' the breed seem to think they're worth the time in the end. I'll definitely be looking at plenty of saluki in my lurcher looking at them. all the best with them when you start running them.
  4. them lurchers are stunning mate how're they bred?
  5. true englishmen are all armed anyway so....we've got the resources to fight a revolution haha!
  6. looking at some of his other videos they eat all sorts. one vid, the heron scranned a whole duckling. then went and plucked another one off the mother and ate that an all. greedy b*****ds haha! the unwashed brigade calling for the man to "intervene" hahaha!! "the poor mother duck was distressed" "why did you film it you could have stoped it"
  7. Im looking at getting an s410 for my first PCP. I currently have a tx200, I was considering trading it in for a PCP. But Ive been advised against it. So with a bit of saving i should get my hands on a 410 soon. The only reason i picked the AA over the BSA is purely cost for the minute. I can get a brand new 410 for the price of a second hand R10 so...I chose that one. In time i may choose the R10 as my weapon of choice, but by the sounds of it I'll keep the AA in my arsenal too. I dont think i will be dissapointed with either one by the sounds of it.
  8. any of the fights between arturo gatti and micky ward were crackers. definitely in the top 5 fights of all time. gatti is one off my boxing heros...big respect for him a a man and a boxer. RIP
  9. definitely mate that'd be good. be good to have my pup out with a more experienced dog as well. show it the ropes etc. we do a bit of shooting on some land over near the jolly sailor. plenty of rabbits over there. all around scaling dam is usually teeming as well in september. Im gonna spend this next few months going round for permission. the stuff we go on at the minute is my friends so would be nice to have some of my own.
  10. haha really? me and the missus were up there the other day. plenty of fields, few pubs and far enough away from her parents for them to just "pop in" ideal place for a first buy. Im an air rifle lad mainly. but ive been going out with a few lads with whippets and coursing a couple of times. wouldnt call them 'dog men' as such...but they do enough for me to have the bug for it and already planning which dogs im buying when i get in my own place. You..?
  11. haha! nah cant imagine id swim there without a cage weasle. Im origiinally from m'bro....the land of dreams but living in redcar for the minute. Should be moving up to the new estate at brotton all going well with my job. had me in stitches that vid ruby. hahaha! forget punching it on the nose thats an old wives tale...'f*ck offf mother fu**er is the best way to get rid of a shark.
  12. where was that weasle if you dont mind me asking..?
  13. Suppose with all the Easterly winds we've had and rough seas all sorts will be washed up over the coming days.....never seen a shark or anything like that though. i've only ever seen seals, the closest i've got is the big f****r who nicked the fish off the end of my line, taking rod and reel over the side with it......hope it choked on it yeah its been rough lately hasnt it...good for fishing, no good for surfing. I dont know if itss true this one, you know what chinese whispers is like. some police tape went up the other day near us and it wwas everything from a body found to a bank he
  14. I'm sure I remember a mako being washed up at redcar...but that can mean anything they can die in waters miles away and just drift over to here i suppose. I saw a lemon shark with the dog down the gare once...he didnt know what to make of it. Quite a small thing though, hardly what nightmares are made of.
  15. I surf all down the NE coast. Saltburn is my local spot. Even when a bit of seaweed brushes past your feet your mind starts working over time hahaha!! Never mind the thought of anything like that. Once you've been in the water a while though you don't think about it...but at first all you can hear is the jaws theme.
  16. I was going to say, any chance that crack shot can teach me to be that accurate, if he can shoot like that from round a corner with an air pistol in gale force winds...id love to see what he can do with a rifle in mild conditions haha
  17. Who put the video up, Goebbels..? Looks like some high quality anti-hunting propaganda to me.
  18. plumbing and heating....fresh out of my time (22, late starter) and I'm beginning to realise what you lads are on about. Yet another reason to vote UKIP and start looking after ourselves. Send them back and shut the border up like Australia have. Nothing good to give us that will benefit the UK? Not welcome mate...piss off back
  19. got a lot to answer for that sport. I dislocated my patella thai boxing...not nice knee injuries man. Hopefully you dont need an op. whats doc said?
  20. yeah mate, ive bought jsb exacts and some air arms too. gonna put a few of each through and see what the rifle prefers...i didnt know there was such a vast amount, calibre, brand, type, grain etc.
  21. thanks very much for your help mate. Awesome site that I'll get some ordered up now.
  22. i was in pretty much the exact same boat mate. except i had an even worse mountmaster. So after one or two outings with the rifle, being unimpressed as to the 'hype' surrounding the TX, the final straw was when i got it absolutely bang on, and a car journey knocked the scope off again. cheap rubbish. I went and bought http://www.deben.com/hawke-sport-hd-ir-riflescopes/hawke-sport-hd-ir-4-12x50-ao.html one of them. Cant recommend it enough, the rifle became much easier to shoot, once it was on there wasnt a speed bump going to knock it off, and the distance i could take shots from becam
  23. Soon as i get paid im going to be buying a few tins of them and try the different ones. jsb and air arms both getting awesome reviews on a few sites so thats where I'l start. tin of each and plenty of target time. rob, i understand what you mean now, only side on shots. To be honest im really impressed with it already. Got it cheap, broken and third hand. and got her fixed up...little bit battered but (after you get used to the heaviness compared to some rifles) its a really nice rifle to shoot. it improved dramatically when i upgraded the scope on it.
  24. Cheers mate. any recomendations? my mate has a s410 and shoots piledrivers (i think thats what he called them) but its an FAC rifle so.....pretty much any pellet at that sort of power will put most stuff down. yeah, im getting more used to where the pellet starts dropping and at what distance too. what do you mean by on shots..?
