    nope, ive known 2 military dog trainers, both have brought there dogs home with them. Both guard dogs too, not sniffer dogs. one of them lives on camp with his missis and family, basically a family pet now. The other is a bird, dog lives with her mam (her home too when shes home)

    That's a good explanation. Definitely food for thought. Perhaps I'm still a bit bitter from friends/permissions known to me and seeing the loss that people have when 10/20 chickens get killed, or two or 3 lambs get killed and only one gets half eaten. Not quite been bought round to your way of thinking yet but I'm definitely seeing where your coming from. Perhaps as I age I will learn to love the little ginger menaces.

    dad was a bootie, then carried his pension over in 86 to the fire brigade. He left around a year ago, took early pension at 55. in his words 'not the brigade i joined, going down the shitter' amongst other, not very PC things that i wont voice on here. He was in the forces at the first strike years ago, and in the fire brigade on the other side of the fence 30 years later haha! In my opinion 30k a year basic wage isnt too much to ask. the list of jobs they do is endless, not just fire calls, but pulling bodies from rivers, RTC's etc. i can understand the 'you know the job you signed up

    good way to look at it that malt. Recently my mates mam bought some chickens (5 of them) because she had wanted to for a while, she bakes a lot so figured she could save a few quid on eggs, with the enjoyment of raising chickens too. Fox got in after a few month, killed them all, never ate even one...that is a vermin to me, not an apex predator.

    me and my missis have an understanding, she does what she wants within reason and i do what i want within reason. If she wants to go out with friends after work and get steaming on blossom hill and i have to put her to bed when she comes in, fine by me...if i want to go to the pub on a saturday/sunday and watch the footy and have an all dayer and get steaming so she has to put me to bed when i crawl home, fine by her. why try and control each other its just wierd. We've been together 6 years and it works, dont fix what isnt broken imo. we have our lives together, and seperate lives too. we
