After reading this post I thought I would take the kids for a walk to have a look in the cut fields. Didn't have a gun as just sold my air rifle to sort out my FAC and get a 17 hmr. Saw a couple rabbits and then my little girl says what's that dad look over and it was a badger looking for food about 25 yards out. Then it got spooked and walked towards us then right passed our feet kids were so happy they've only every seen badgers sleeping at the side of the road.

I finally had the chance to shoot a rabbit today in the field over my hedge the land owner doesn't let anybody shoot on his land but I'm a family friend and have just moved into 1 of his cottages. There's rabbits everywhere around here so today after getting a go ahead to shoot on the land I spotted a rabbit pretty close in the field. so I went outside and grabbed my rifle from the shed popped my head up just a little to see if he was still there. All good so I made my way to the hedge and came up slowly and rested the gun but I wasn't happy with angle so I went further down the hedge to a pla

Permission Papers & Waver of Liability
Lelandsdad1 replied to davyt63's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I've gained a few permissions already by fitting carpets for people with land but now I have moved house into the countryside I want to get some of the land around me. For miles around me all the land is owned by 1 family and my most of my family have rented the houses in this area of them for years so I have printed a set of papers off and I will be passing them to the owner Friday. I really hope I'm aloud permission as I only have to walk 10 yards and I'm on the land. Hopefully my vote for the owners new wind turbine will help my case :-)
