First sucess with Pulsar challenger + DSA & IR light
Freddie Pier replied to Freddie Pier's topic in Airgun Hunting
Thanks however I dont have a side wheel focus. Do I focus the AO on to the range I want to shoot at before putting it on the scope or focus the AO on NV to the specs of dust at close range? So far I have a good image with the NV mounted to the scope at 30 yds however the reticle is nor very sharp? I feel I should have a crisp view of the target as well as the scope reticle? I also find I keep having to take the unit off and make small adjustments to the eye ring focus on the scope until i see the reticle. Close ranges are fine and I can get a good view of the reticle and target, should this -

Scorpion SE .22 in Scotland on holiday June 2012

Thanks for the great comments. Have you guys seen the petition on the BASC website can you believe they want to license all air rifles even sub 12ftlbs in Scotland? Please have a look and sign the petition along with as many others you can tell about it or I will have to get a license whenever I go there. If its passed who knows how long it would be before our parliment introduces licences? -

I made this spinning target with a couple of cheap tea spoons from poundland bent then 90 degrees with pliers drilled the handle and found an old cleaning rod to suspend them from either side of the handles are washers and cable ties to stop the swinging in the wind left to right and also slow them down quicker when they are hit. There are still some things I want to add to it like a carry handle across the top and some steel strips to protect the upstands, have a look on youtube for reactive targets for airguns there are loads of good ideas. If you got stuff laying around the garage or shed

Hi guys managed to take my new pulsar challenger out last night from Scott Country and got this scaly tail. I realise the challenger is an add on to a day scope and its probably entry level night vision however it did perform and it worked very well indeed. I had allot of concern at the beginning with getting it focused on the reticle of my Hawke panorama EV and it looked doubtful at first I would ever get it set up. Does anyone else who has used or still uses one of these units have any tips? I have since put two marks on the eye focus on my hawke scope as a reference point for when I put the
