    Have just dug out a spare 4x32 scope (minus the mounts and a new tin of pellets.

    Its a mk1 bsa lightening, very good condition, theoben gas ram fitted, no scope as its on another gun, gun slip (slightly too long but a slip none the less), also original brand new spring, spring guide and washers..... looking to find out what its worth, not to sell right at this moment. Thanks

    How long did you allow for your canes woodcote? I assume you wrapped them in the electrical tape then used the tube for cushioning?

    A bipod was not something I never planned on adding to my gun but over time ive wondered could one be useful...I do get on fine without as thats all ive known (not having one),, could be time for change.

    Morning villaman,, I looked at the js Ramsbottom ones,, the price tag attached to them seem reasonable, was looking at the £39 one after having been told that 6-9" wld be too small... not to say if I saw a cheaper harris about id probably go for it. But due to funds id probably go for what my pocket can afford. Gun needs a service first and foremost! :0)

    Maybe I should check out the edgar bros range as not thought look as of yet...and thanks for the advice on the leg height.

    The Harris bipods do seem to be most favoured and I can see why (ref the apparent build quality and lifetime warranty), with any of the extending leg bipods, is it just personal preference for which size to choose? Have to save a little longer for a harris though.. :0)

    So this type of bipod fits directly to standard sling studs? Ive seen alot of the chinese import b.pods and have been kinda like..Mmmmm cheap but whats the quality like...ill try find one of these you have said abt.

    Hi, ive been looking over different brands of bipod, there seems to be a fair few to choose from on ebay (which most likely wouldn't last very long),, I know alot of you may be inclined to say buy cheap, buy twice! Which yes I do agree with upto a certain point, but surely not all of the budget range a really that s***t are they? There must be cheap hard wearing products as well? Ive just come across the range of buffalo river brand from optics warehouse! Putting aside the Harris and deben bipods which of the other brands have people come across and what issues if any had to be addressed?

    Thanks for the reply barrywhite , my ra. In the gun is fine but prob will get it chronoed...as I now have a gunas standard with a ram in it I thought it wld be nice to have a normal springer not necessarily standard spring but springer and doesn't matter if stock spring or not although I do still have the stock spring.

    Hi I've just been given my fathers bsa lightening xl se grt, want too keep that untouched , my question being...I also own an old british built bsa lightening fitted with a theoben gas ram..I've heard that a hw 97k spring will fit, now will that make any great difference to my guns performance and will it cause any long term wear to the rest of the gun...something I may consider doing depending on my responses on here! I've no need to go out n get a different rifle as some may suggest as I already own an air arms (pre anti tamper) s410 carbine. Any advice would be appreciated

    6-24x50 ao ir scope for sale..comes with lense covers, sunshade and hi mounts...states tasco on the body but am sure its not.. hence why im selling for £20 collected or + £5 postage (Located nr stonehenge in wiltshire) Illuminated green/red recticle. in good working or and very tidy.
