  1. I have one I've put a tuning kit in it, it got rid of the twang, and is very accurate at 35 yards and powerful, they have supposed to have sorted the gauging issue with an added roller on the cocking arm. they have a long barrel with a silencer fitted but I don't mind that, as it helps with cocking. Can be hold sensitive, but once used to it, it's fine.
  2. Was he this guy lol should have gone to spec savers http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2263806/The-Verminator-Pensioner-hauled-court-taking-air-rifle-squirrel.html
  3. What was there reasoning for not using .177? I've used both .22 and .177 on rats and never had a problem with either.
  4. If I have no means of seeing when it's dark and I'm hunting when the sun's going down, then yes I certainly have a sense of urgency to beat the setting sun.
  5. probably not, but it makes me feel good when im in camo, especially when i walk out the door and the neigbours are giving me funny looks lol
  6. i currently use a 3-9 x 50 ao ir hawke scope on my r10, but when shooting at 50 yards i feel i could do with a little closer zoom, so wanted something with more magnification, saw these two scopes and very different prices and was wondering if the panorama was worth the extra cash?
  7. id love to put one of those together, wouldnt know where to start lol, still using a sony handycam, but it does the job for ratting. good shooting.

    New Shoot

    nice rifle good shooting
  9. Do you have one, what do you think of it? What's the difference between this model and the panorama ev 4-12 x 50 in AO, apart from it is about £160 delivered compared to £90 delivered for the HK3072 4-16x50 4-16 x 50 AO IR scope. Asking as I'm thinking of purchasing one. The cheaper is looking more appealing at the moment. Any thoughts or info on the two appreciated. Thanks
  10. Put my new bipod on my r10, very pleased, popping my spinners at 50 yards with ease with it fitted
  11. Want to get a bipod, but not sure which Size will be best, I will use it for shooting from the prone position, but don't know whether to get either 6-9 inch or 9-13 inch, what do you guys use?
  12. Our fields used to have plenty of bunnies, haven't seen any for two years, myxy has claimed many! Still trying to bag some jackdaws, but there proving to be very clever.
  13. There's a large flock at my stables, they roost about half a mile away, I didn't think you could shoot them?
  14. I recently bought a 177 r10 mk2, I wasn't sure how I was going to get on with it, only using 22 previously, but having zero'd it at 34 yards, I'm amazed how accurate it is with jsb exacts 4.52.
  15. Went for a look round the chicken coups tonight, only spotted a couple of rats, shot the one with a lovely head shot, .177 bisley magnum went straight through, dropped him stone dead. His friend legged it, waited for him for about half hour, never showed back up. He can wait til next time.
  16. Ive recently bought one in .177 flavour, it putting out at 10.8 fps with rws superdomes. does that sound about right?
