    30" lanber sporter for sale, bores mint blueing, mint, action mint and very tight, hardly done any work, sste, full set of multi chokes, seen them go in this condition for £650!!     2year old lanber in very very good condition, full set of chokes and key, steel proof,3"chambers, single selective trigger, ejector! As previous post says but also would straight swap for a decent auto!

    My lanbers up for sale, walnut stock 30" barrels multichoke full set of chokes and key! Its only 2yr old so very good condition! Bluing is mint action mint stock very good couple of cabinet marks very very small! Selling to fund new gun! £500 ovno or swap for winchester or nikko game gun!

    No worries mate thanks for the reply, just doing abit of research on a cartridge im using! I used to use eley high flyers and now using rottweil specials, a good match for me as they are putting out exactly the same mv! The rottweils seem a better cartridge!

    Did any one see the crazy american guy making cut shells and showing us what they can do! He says it basicly turns a 12g into a 70cal!! I would never try this myself but apparently they were widely used during the great depression and still used today in america to hunt deer! the accuracy was phenominal and stoping power looked unreal!

    I aggree the open chokes do limit to an extent! However you can also adjust the way the gun chokes the shot by using different cartridges but as a general rule 40 yards plus you will struggle at times to acheive clean kills/ breaks consistently! Alot of game guns are very open choked but these were most probably for walked up game! I use 1/4 and 1/2 in my o/u and it kills great at range you dont nead more choke than this inless your shooting seriously high birds! atb C.H

    They saw somthing the didnt like which could be alot of things, wind direction,,lack of movement as birds might be shy and may have been decoyed before, or set up not convicing enough! Well my freind this is the secret to decoying, if you can reconise whats put them off and fix it, you will be a great decoyer, only experience brings this and its a game thats always changing every outing is different, so best thing to do is do a bit if research and get stuck in! good luck

    Was out yesterday with my mate shooting crows on a grass feild , set up with a load of flocked deeks and a well built hide. Alot of traffic around so we gave it a go! And they just kept coming even after shots had just gone off a quick call had them heading back! They love the primos lol! Iv been using the primos power crow call for a little over a month now and im getting quite good at calling with it and getting the calls to sound right! iv used a few others that have worked but not in the same league to be fair!     Cheap. 12bore side x side wanted in cumbria! Looks not important but must be in proof and fully working! The cheaper the better! Any make any model less than half choke in each barrel if poss! Cheers

    hi mate i think you need to get some practice on the clays pal, forget about chokes or cartridges thats not gunna make you hit them! I would leave the live stuff till your shooting consistantly! Consistant shooting requires confidence, concentration, and a clear head, start thinking about the ones you missed and y you missed and all you will do is miss! But seriously get some practice on the clays! atb c.h
