    my stables are fully enclosed & yes i let them run loose it was for exercise and didnt realise we had mice until the boys starting laying them out by the door..and we have had no more mice since then.

    theres a few cheap ones on ebay i looked today.. i have 2 hobs but was told to get jills so i did in all fairness i should try them all just to see for myself...i just cant wait to get started now

    Thanks for the info Lads..i managed to find a Mk3 on eBay for £100 which is cheap compared to others on there will count it as an early Xmas present to myself..next stop Ferret box & nets..Thats where u come in isn't it Andy?? i hear you are one of the best Net makers so hopefully you can sort me out what i need please mate?

    Thanks for the advice i will definitely try that they are only babies at the moment so will take it easy..i have 2 older hobs that i might try but gut feeling is they gonna too big as they are pretty large.

    Hi I'm Wayne, i have just found the sport of ferreting & am totally hooked.. i have no experience & have only watched someone work their ferrets a couple of times & was lucky enough to be given a rabbit to take home to cook for my family, i would appreciate some advice i purchased two young Jills last week & cant wait to start training them i look forward to any advice that you may have to pass on especially on starting my young Jills off on the right track.. kind regards Wayne Lukas

    i am new to the ferreting sport & would like to know when first starting out do i really need a ferret finder? firstly i was trying to keep the cost down until i was more experienced & a couple of people have warned me that the collar is just something that a ferret called get tangled up with... Some views on this would be greatly appreciated and i really don't want to risk anything happening to one of my newly purchased Jills they are part of the family now.
