double pegged in thick cover, peg down the burrow and short lines. the net will close faster. If your using smaller nets then ideally you want a bigger than 4" full mesh. you want the rabbits head through the mesh, less chance of it being thrown off IMO.

Square or Diamond??? thats the question I use both square and diamond walled nets from 5-25 yards, perfect killing tool. I dont leave home without a couple when im out for a days ferreting. Depends on where you want to use them, if permissions granted use them pre-set on poles from a little mooching basket or if your hopping a fence or two, hank it up in your coat pocket and have a few hazel pegs up yir sleeve. you can use a purse net at each end to keep the tension to the walls. You'll need a longer peg than normal, this all depending on the height of the outer walls, you need to keep

ive a great little spot for working a net like that, have had some good results and its a good bit of sport. I've got a nice little bit of young woodland to do in a few weeks, 25 yards of net and beat through. If i can find the video camera and tripod i'd like to film the action at the net.

10ft from that distance is quite accurate, however there is far far better out there.

I hate that mixed spun poly, makes my eyes go funny for a few seconds every time i look at it. Braided nylon purse nets handle very nicely, needs a double knot with most of it but its worth it if your knitting your own nets.

I'm with moxy on the 501b. add a cheap DX aspheric lense, cheap as chips and will do more than you need. The T20 is a good option also but i wouldnt be buying from the UK This is where all the UK suppliers are buying from: http://uniquefire.en.alibaba.com/product/60094988460-214426889/UniqueFire_zoom_fast_track_Cree_U2_uf_t20_ir_flashlight_torch.html on a side note here's a nice little adjustable mount: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Windage-and-Elevation-Adjustable-Mount/1659265140.html -

i can eat a phaal without any problems the next day, the hottest food ive ever eaten was in Singapore, it was a blood red sauce with a single lump of meat, served in an oyster shell. The locals i was having dinner with warned me not to try one. wish i'd listened, i could barely talk, more pain than hot Ghost chilli's are a nasty bit of kit, i wouldnt want to eat one again.

A cheap 80's hothatch on gumtree would get that phone ringing

Cut your poles a little longer and give them a try, you can always cut a little off if needs be. you'll want 11 poles for a 50 yard net and a few ready as spares in the shed
