Disturbed a Woodcock yesterday morning at dawn. At least my dogs did. Somebody will make a fortune if they can video a Woodcock carrying its young. That's if they do do that. Would love to see it. That's what made me think of Blackbird. They leave pretzels like that in my garden round about August to October. They are obviously feeding on blue berries of some description probably blackberries. If you stand in it you leave blue footprints on your paving.

Not goose in my opinion. The scats are lying next to an acorn shell. This gives us some idea of scale. Goose poo is four or five times thicker than those in the photo. I think its a bird which has been feeding on blackberries or similar. Bird belonging to Blackbird family?

Gnasher is a bit of a mystery. He reckoned he was the alpha male on here..... distilled masculinity. I was driving a Honda Civic. I was def travelling faster than 14 mph and the other driver hit me at fairly high speed. Both cars written off. My airbags def never activated. It was in 99 so no chance of investigation now.

I had a similar experience. I was genuinely injured.First thing my GP asked me was whether the airbags had activated.I got the strong impression he was trying to discover whether I was a compensation seeker or genuinely hurt.
