  1. Offer to give chocolate or chips to someone's dog and they will refuse and be offended. Offer to give chocolate, chips, burgers, any other shite to a kid and they will thank you. Weird.
  2. I don't like the way you think. You attitudes are all wrong because you don't agree with me. I'm reporting you to Big brother ! You need some correctional thinking. Expect a knock on the door.
  3. Lots of people routinely cover their faces: hoodies, blokes with long peaked baseball caps, muslim women. What guarantee have we got that there isn't a case of mistaken identity? What guarantee we won't be suddenly arrested for not paying a parking fine? None. A couple of years back I was in Italy. Italians are supposed to carry ID all the time and tourists their passports. Three cops went along a queue in a railway station checking everybody's papers whilst trying to look as sinister as possible. When they came to me I told them my passport was in my hotel bedroom in a safe. They
  4. A terrorist who isn't completely mentally defective will cover his face with a hat or other piece of clothing. How much success has this technology had? The brits have a long tradition of not carrying ID cards,of not having our movements tracked, and not living in a police state..... but our traditional freedoms are being attacked big time by these cameras.
  5. The state is watching my movements. I want to live in a free society where the state leaves me alone. I did not give consent to have my movements monitored. What happens to these images? How long are they held for and for what purpose? Why are innocent people being monitored? Why can't the technology only record those on terrorist/ serious criminal databases? Surveillance on private individuals has increased a lot over the decades. It makes me feel uncomfortable. It's the thin edge of a very thick wedge.
  6. Apparently these cameras are becoming the norm for police forces and even private organisations. They take images of everybody including children. Nobody has given their consent for these cameras. They have just been sneeked in without parliament or citizens giving approval. Big brother! Maybe there's a case for their use with a limited databank of terrorists or seriously dangerous criminals, but Joe Public should be protected from these invasive devices.
  7. Lke the idea of night vision/ thermal imaging but can't justify high prices on my budget. Anything half decent for a few hundred quid?
  8. Stoney the video you put up is the one I meant. Thanks.
  9. You are right Baker Ali in his younger years was an unapologetic racist. But he mellowed as he got older
  10. I don't think it is Stoney. I'll keep looking for it.
  11. There was one that got really heated. I think it was something about Ali having white friends but being a member of the black muslims organisation. Ali was genuinely pissed off because he thought Parky had sneaked in an issue which hadn't been agreed. Good watch. This clip is a good watch. Ali pushes him, really riles him and then says "back offa me". He says he will punish Terrel in the ring and he did. Gave him a right hiding repeating " what's my name?" The papers were really critical of Ali because they reckoned the punishment he dished out to him wasn't necessary. He could
  12. I remember Eammon Andrews telling Ali he once boxed. Ali looked him up and down and said: "yeah what did you box? Kippers?"? Bugner was a class act. The british public never forgave him for beating " our Enery". He' s still got all his marbles and no blurred speech. He fought most of the great 70s heavyweights.Top man.
  13. That's about as daft as going on a pub crawl with a bloke who is banned from all the pubs for fighting.? Counter productive. Most greyhounds have plenty of fire in the belly. You don't want it coming out in aggression to other dogs.
  14. The difference between a successful greyhound and an ordinary greyhound can be the blink of an eye. As long as the greyhound is sound physically and temperamentally and has good stamina then you don't need a big name dog when producing lurchers. In this litter the fusing of deerhound and bull blood is going to slow the pups down so much that using a class greyhound is pointless in my opinion. It's a selling tactic.
  15. It's a decent greyhound. I think the seller might reduce his price after a month or so of no sales.
  16. You are right and I was wrong Greyman.I've been googling. I had no idea the authorities could be so short sighted as to not forsee the problems they would create. Otters are a big problem in my neck of the woods as well, breeding them for release is just criminal.
  17. Stoney I couldn' t agree more about Ali. He's been an inspiration to me and millions of others. As you say boxer, charismatic entertainer, freedom fighter, humanitarian, peace ambassador, truly the greatest of all time. I recently went for a serious operation and to get me through it I adopted Ali's "that sucker aint nothin" quote. (Foreman). Bloody worked as well.Instead of curling up into a ball. I just said f**k it " that sucker ain't nothing" before and after the op. Always cheers me up when I trawl through old videos of Ali on Youtube. He wasn't a saint but he was a truly great ma
  18. I don't agree otters, pine marten or polecats have been released.( Otters and pine marten are difficult to breed in captivity). There are more otters because of cleaner rivers, pine marten because they are no longer persecuted to the same extent and polecats because many of them are descended from escaped/released ferrets. There will be other reasons too. Magpies have suddenly appeared in big numbers in my part of the woods. They have just extended their range. Years ago there were gamekeepers shooting them on sight, now there's nothing to keep them in check. Pheasants are released i
  19. Didn't know Wayne Rooney was into running dogs. Second from the left first photo.?
  20. I have it on good authority that he gave away his purse completely! He definitely did. However, he emptied the purse before he donated it.?
  21. Joe Frazier was similar. The nearest human equivalent to a pitbull. I think he would have worn these giants down easily. Ali would also have found a way.
  22. Many of the homeless are ex forces or ex children's homes. Personally I always buy a big issue and if I' m going into a city centre I take spare change with me. Maybe Im a mug but it makes me feel better and if thats my motive everybodys happy. Life expectancy for the homeless in the UK is forty odd. A national disgrace.
  23. Agree. Marciano fought at 13 stone 7.As the size of heavyweight boxers has gone up their abilities have gone down. They now resemble pawing , probing stick insects. About as riveting as a chess match. When Fury beat Klitchko there was not a decent blow landed.
