There was a piece about Bradley on last night's Look North. He has now received 75000 cards. He's to receive a new treatment from America which, it is hoped will extend his life for several months but it's not a cure. His goal for Sunderland will feature on Match of the Day.

My first choice would have been Guardiola. But the new reality is that we could not afford him. Since he's gone to the 'noisy neighbours' i would appoint Eddie Howe, proven ability, very sharp and burning ambition. I would give him a long contract and let him develop into the job.

Man U is in my blood but I can't accept Mourhino. I've tried and tried but to me he will always be a two -faced bully. It's all about his ego. Sooner he leaves the better. He is the most slappable manager in football. Mind you if we win the Europa cup and the Champions League next year, I might change my mind. But I don't think so. As for Rojo, I've been saying for some time that he is completely out of control to the point of recklessness. I think doormen/bouncers have cleaned up their act lot compared to yesteryear. I think most punters will go along with a reasonable request by a reasonable guy on the door. It's when people in authority let their power go to their heads that you get angry punters. The doorman in the video acted very responsibly. Some people in authority have a way with them that means they rarely get trouble, whereas others bring on trouble all the time. I think everybody died mid sixties or before in those days. I think there were lots of reasons for it-not just poor grub. One thing I have noticed though is that kids who were born just after the war are a lot taller than their parents-better nutrition i reckon. I'm a lot taller than my dad was and even my older brothers. My mam reckoned it was because i got cod liver oil and free orange juice which wasn't available to older kids. Mind you the fact that we lived near the docks helped too--there was lots of foodstuffs knocked off from the docks which always found its way into kitchen. My dad

I loved it when I was a kid. It was a genuine treat. We would often come in from play and be given bread and dripping to share with whoever we were playing with. I can remember my mam and grandma eating tripe and pigs' feet. The working class really did eat offal in those days. Fecking disgusted me-but they used to love it. I was more of a fray bentos tinned beef lover. (probably offal as well) I can remember my mam chasing me with the pig's foot for a laugh. No doubt these days I could have counselling for psychological trauma.

How do you know, were you there? Regardless, if he wanted to pose for a picture with a Britain First banner he obviously supported them so calling him a Britain First terrorist seems fair to me. just because you want to put britain and british people first that don't make you a terrorist. Yes , but in his case it made him a cowardly murderer. Yet some on here see his actions as totally understandable-even inevitable. Makes me shudder to see the support he has.
