Hi I stalk in Ireland a few times each year you need to get a hunting licence which is free you will need someone from Ireland with land to fill there bit in when you get it his back. You then need to send it for a firearms licence which is €40 this all takes about 6/8 weeks and you can't apply for this till August and the start of the season is the first of September . Hi all I take part in all fieldsports but my main one is deer stalking I've been shooting for over 25yrs i have rifles from 22lr to 300 win mag various shotguns and when i get chance boat fishing in the summer , hope I can contribute to the site .
