Many year ago it was normal practice till the saluki hybrids came along and showed that it was possible for 1 dog to take more than 1 or 2 on a outing then since then most "true coursing men" have ran single handed fen and field and double up on the lamp get a grip -
Must of been a cheap dog if you just wanting to lamp him good luck with him

I have only been using these hunting forums for a few week now and there are loads of crabbers but I bet a pound too a penny none of them have a dog worthy of crabbing

It would cost me around a ten spot a day on a mixer going that way I have 4 running dogs and a couple terriers and it only costs roughly 15 a week that's all fresh veg and price of beef and lamb pasta etc -
