    What's wrong with that? Some of the happiest memories of my life must be those marked by the time when both my parents were alive. And soaked peas were a staple of Sunday Dinner. Probably my favourite part! Now, at the other end of my life, I've actually rediscovered them. I can do them myself now. Pork loin chops. Crinkly oven chips. Home made mushy peas. F**k yeah!     I remember to this day reading a story in one of the very earliest " Pan Book Of Horror Stories " called something very much like " The Shifting Growth ".     Can anyone tell me about them, please? Or even point me to a site, because I can't seem to find anything on them. Do just about any form of canaries come in blue? Or is it particular? Can't help thinking how I'd like to get one. I like the look of them. And, reading here, I'm reminded of the ear splitting songs of canaries I've heard in my younger days.
