  1. All the best with that fella, look forward to seeing the pics. Can't get out untill them weekend myself, hope the weather holds out for you.
  2. It's got to be pdc ( phils darts club) every time
  3. Cheers guys, I'll try to keep it up. But having thought about my post I told a lie. Technically it'd be vermin pie I think, doesn't sound quite as appetising some how! Happy hunting
  4. Just shot my first tree rat, 25ish yard head shot. Well happy, I haven't tried squirrel yet, going to try for a couple of wood pidgeon later, got a rabbit in the freezer... Game pie anyone? Anyway I'm off back out now, happy hunting
  5. Do you mean I should have had him out earlier? Sadly I've not been able to get out much over the last month due to ill health in the family and work commitments, but its just going to have to be a game of catch up. But any hints or tips that you'd like to share would be welcomed, because I'm not the most experienced, cheers. Happy hunting
  6. Yes mate, only went out for an hour today. But it was my lurcher pups first time out (he's almost 4month). Netted up a small 3 holer first, had a fag then put my poley Jill down, 10 seconds later rabbit out right by the pup in a purse net, poor little bugger (dog) didn't know what to do with himself. Dispatched it and let him play with it, while I cleared up, nothing else there. Done another 4 holer, nobody home, but did spot another few to try in the morning. Hopefully pup will get the hang of it a bit better tomorrow, and as I've got more time should get a bigger bag (can't get any smaller
  7. The thing that winds me up is that frets are cheap, £2k a fret and you could understand it ( not condone it, mind), but at £10 a pop why don't the tw@s just buy them? Sorry to hear that mate, hope they were nippy b*****ds, sore hands is the very least they should suffer! Good luck finding decent replacements for your stinkers bud.
  8. That's exactly what I'm doing in the morning, found a couple of 5-6 holers, just purse netting them. Let the pup see the rabbit, so to speak. Hope he's keen, his main interest is staring at his favourite wall, silly b*****d! If I remember to take the camera, I'll post the photos. Happy hunting
  9. That would be great fella, cheers. Didn't think of that Giro, good point. I had a little browse chris, but couldn't see anything, I'll have a proper look later on. Cheers lads
  10. Hi guys, just wanted to know your thoughts on rabbit liver, and that of other small game really, my ferrets get it all at the moment, but if anyone has made any nice dishes I'd give them a go. Cheers, and happy hunting
  11. Thought I'd say hi, loving the site. I recently got my first stinkers, 2jills and a hob, found some great advice so far, can't wait to get better at it and post some photos. I also enjoy a bit of pidgeon shooting with my air rifle, and I have a12 week old lurcher, and a 10 week old jack. So in for a interesting 18 months, with the training etc. no doubt I'll be racking your brains soon enough gentlemen, keep up the good work, and happy hunting to all.
