Really like the look of this dog.

Its depressing. The worst thing is that we are supposed to be a community of people looking out for each other. Most of us want the ban to be overturned but these instances really shed a bad light over all of us. Really boils my blood.

Thanks for the advice. Good to see there's a few locals as well. If anyone goes out and doesn't mind a tag along any opportunity to learn is good. Also it's been said that it's best to wait till 12 months before trying to teach diesel (my pup) is that generally what everybody thinks? I plan alot of walking as he gets older I've been advised aswell to do plenty of road walking as well as out in the fields. Thanks for making me feel welcome aswell very pleasant forum -
Looks like theres a few of us lancashire lads signing up.

Hi I am Chris from Darwen Lancs. I am new to field sports. I have a couple of friends with permission that have kindly took me along but always out for new information and help and have been looking over alot of the info on here and finding it really useful. I have ferrets and have been rabbiting with them with some good results although nothing quite like seen on this site. I have also just purchased a lurcher pup. Dam collie x deerhound x greyhound, Sire deerhound x greyhound x whippet. Any advice is greatly recieved for training tips from young pup (8 weeks). -
What you do with the things you've shoot?
rum1 replied to Deano10's topic in New Member Introductions
Shoot for your dinner save money on your meat at the butchers. Ferrets eat any meat thrown in at them aswell. I always have a few ferrets handy.
