found out tonight that 4 dogs were stolen from todmorden one patterdale dog one patterdale bitch and two beagle pups ill put more details up as soon as i get them. thanks john

hi putting this up for a lad i met today hes had a border terrier bitch gone missing in keighley west yorkshire on thursday it escaped from his back yard and hasent been seen since its a 4 month old bitch thats micro chipped hes been in touch with local kennels and informed the police but nothing has been handed in as yet there is a reward on the safe return of her any info contact mark on 07727649597 or pm me thanks john

hi sally yeah had a good day at least weather stayed fine some decent dogs on show including your pup shame about its tail as its thrown more to border. i was the lad with patt pup we were talking by the show ring nice to put a name to a face hopefully next years will be as good if not better

I'm very suprised all the cranks on here haven't started asking why you want a red when "it don't" matter what colour it is if it works" if you or someone you know want a certain colour good look to them it's ther fxxking dog! (there's me ranting again) I like certain colours and so do a few people I know the reason the kid wants a red one is to match the same colour as his hair thats all. for me it has to be black he did me a favour by returning one of my dogs all iam trying to do is repay the favour

i came past services at scotch corner twice last week and the price had gone twice first time it was 127.9 then 129.9 at the end of the week.things wont change cos nobody has the back bone to stand up against it

after reading the replies i decided to call plod they came tonight to hear what happened straight away he implied we shouldnt have been there so i informed him about the situation regarding the control of dogs and that if they wanted us to leave they should have asked. also found out that the farmer in question doesent own or rent the field that we were in anyway plod went up to see farmer who gave a different account of what happened but he has had a check up to see if his licence is in order and logged the incident incase there is any more bother.this is not the first time this has happened

just a quick question how do i stand regards walking my dogs on farm land with no livestock in it my son and daughter were walking there dogs in this field tonight when the farmers lad shot three times at them the dogs were under control but not on a lead there was no livestock in the field and no livestock in any of the adjoining fields one shot was across a public foot path thanks

have to agree not all dogs are bad most of the time its the dogs that have been tormented. children should be supervised at all times with dogs till they understand that the dogs are not toys, weve had alsorts of dogs over the years rottis and mainly gsds that we got from the rescue centre to re socialise and then rehome for the gsd rescue not one of these turned out bad and most were rehomed apart from the older dogs that we kept our selves never a problem even them getting on with our own dogs. the worst i had was a cocker spaniel i got the old lady couldnt look after properly so took it on

hi mate i would agree leave the mink alone for now i know a lad that put a patterdale pup into a wheelie bin with a mink the mink bit the pup on the nose and wouldnt let go totally ruined a decent terrier the lad should have been put in the bin total w****r

hi mate hope dogs ok like others have already said get her to vets asap what sort of range was she when she took them. was it a mate that shot her or was it a farmer they tend to shoot first then ask questions later. if it was a so called mate i know where the second barrel would be going then again it could be just an unfortunate accident only you know the answer to that. any way hope dogs ok keep us posted how shes doing. all the best john

cheers theobenmike thats the one i was looking for sounds like a good bit of craic i follow the local the local hunt but not enough action for me most days they cant catch a cold
