  1. Its a divided topic because proper hunting is through permission. More than likely permission given in regards to pest control in some form. A farmer usually gives the nod when his livlihood is taking a hit. I think that its about being responsible with your hunting. If we were to go out and shoot the life out of the permission given, we'd shoot ourselves out off the sport. Get the balance right and everybody is happy. Pest numbers stay down , the farmers happy and at the same time theres enough quarry left to reproduce keeping the sport ticking over. Great topic!!!
  2. Top looking bitch pal. Really interesting cross. Cant see you struggling with a sale at that price. Someones getting a bargain!!! All the best..!
  3. Just had a look on google and a few blokes have said between £15-20 with Royal Mail Standard Parcels.
  4. Alright Pete. Thanks for getting in touch mate. Got your number. Ill give you a calk tomorrow if thats alright. In the mean time ill try and find out how much postage would be ;-)
  5. Alright mate, when you say works as it should, do you mean in relation to its condition or it still works fine? Would you post for extra money?
  6. Brilliant pictures. The underside shot of the pylon stands out. Reminds me of a view through a Kaleidoscope. Great work..!!
  7. Okay mate I understand. I would have paid you £150 if you did post it. Cumbria is too far for me to travel mate.! Good luck any way pal.!
  8. Did you sell it mate? Definitely no chance posting?
  9. Good to hear that mate. Im proficient enough with tools and take my time and luckily there's this fancy invention called the internet, crammed with youtube blue peter style videos and plenty of forum posts aswell. Im looke ing forward to doing it because when it's done I'll get proper satisfaction than just a normal gun kill. Thanks for the wisdom pal!
  10. Alright mate. Out with a female Gos the last couple of seasons. Harris before that and spent a season with a female AK. Had a lot of fun with the AK. Was different to what I've done before because you have to be really vigilant on the scales because they are so small. But watching the little bolt of lightening hit starlings was great fun! I see you have a Harris. Im tempted to get one next season or maybe fly a pair.
  11. Hows it going hunters? Been back and forth on the forum over the last couple of years looking here and there at what people are up to with their hunting. Decided to now get amongst it because like everyone I always have a question or 2, and there's no better place to direct them. Im into falconry, shooting, fishing and getting out with my pals Saluki. No better way to take a walk in the wild!!! Anyway, Im off for a mooch around on here. Happy Hunting!!!
  12. Cheers mate. Cracking forum. Mix bag of everything from what I can see. I had a little look around on the forum, and you're not the first to steer me away from the OX kit available. Same thing keeps cropping up about over springing. I havent bought anything yet, Ive swayed more so far to the Titan, as I know it matches up with the Webley Excel. In terms of the fitting, have you done it yourself or left it to a gunsmith? Im gonna keep looking about and see if there are any other tuning kits that fit the gun.
  13. Evening All Has anyone ever fitted a Titan Top Hat, Titan Power Boosters & Titan XS Mainspring? Ive got my hands on an old Webley Excel and although after the 60 odd quid on the tuning kit, I could have probably bought a new gun, I would rather tune it myself if possible as a project, than buy new. Has anyone done this before, if so is it fairly straight forward? I realise It would be better to pass it on to a local gunsmith, but as a person I like to get stuck in, and at the end, if all goes to plan, the first kill will be more satisfying than with a shiny new shooter.
