  1. Have lamped my beddy a few times , just to get out for an hour or two and a laugh ! Yes they might pick up a squatter , but when they get out run its nose down and clear the area of any wild life . I put a lot of time and effort into my dog but to make him into a lamping dog Urine extraction comes to mind !
  2. There is 1 dog pup left down here in S Wales , cant promise fox takers , but in the right hands they will make good strong dogs ! Royston i will ask around for you but the 1st cross has been out of favour for a while down here ! Got a beddy x grey to a beddyxgrey with a touch of fellhound bitches that i go out with every week good hunters but not out and out killers due to the dash of hound !

  5. Nice pups , the dam and sire look fit and in top condition !
  6. Dont bite about beddys lads , each to their own ! I would not slag any breed or type of dog that a person wants to own and work its their choice ! Life is too short to slag people and dogs off , leave that up to the fcukwits ! Enjoy your hunting with the tyke of your choice . Regards Alun , PS off to the parlour to get my fluffy beddy all poofed up rock a billy quiff and all the trimmings !
  7. Totaly agree with Topper , leave them live if there is a shortage in your area !

  13. Topper you hit the nail on the head there ! Not the type of dog for impatient people ! But get a good beddy and if your working style suits the dogs £s in ! Give me a pm if you want a pup in the future ?
  14. The welcome and hunting over in ireland was excellent , those boys have cover work off to a fine art ! Shit weather but high spirits and good company who know their stuff , better than sunny climes when you have good dog work The beddy caught his first in cover . Spot the lurcher lad . Nice country .
  15. Hi , there is a web site for working beddys , wwwthecountrydog.co.uk . What do you want the dog to work ? The beddy is not a out and out earthing dog unless there is a dash of lakey , my opinion . Get a pup off boys who work them , do your home work on the breed so you know the beddy is the right dog for you !
  16. Murphy is looking well with you SJ , hoping for a bitch pup april ! The bitch is out of murphy & the dog is out of nickys old dog jake , both are under 14/12 " . Good luck with the mating . Piper the liver dog in the pics was the sire of murphy , as i remember ?
  17. Griffo, what lines is she from? Some dogs will fly to ground at 10 months (or before) and yet, some dogs are nowhere near ready at that age. The temptation is always there to get them going early, but the dog must be mature enough mentally and physically to cope with what goes on down there. Then one day, you might be lucky enough to get her 1st one in a drain or some easy place, and it will all hopefully click into place. hi, she's from gary newcombe/stevens rillington lines. She's quite mature for her age and is raring to go on rabbits at the mo although she has showed no inte
