  1. My new prezzy to myself came today, a fully tuned/customised smk 78. It has been basically hand built and there is very little left of the original gun. Just been for a shoot, ragged 1 hole group with H&N FTT .22 @20m. Here is the thread on how it was built. http://ukchineseairg...1296.php#151296
  2. and sorry for ever doubting you PIL at the begining, I just thought everyone deserves a fair chance, looks like you where spot on. At least we got one of the funniest vids on youtube out of all this And I agree with moxy.... got me baseball bat at the ready
  3. couple of the lads have them at the club, they are "OK". You get what you pay for. If you are getting second hand at a good price then go for it, if you where buying it new I would forget the Kral/hatsan etc and buy a second hand weihrauch/airarms. I picked up my hw99s for £140 and is a sweet little rifle with a world class trigger. Also fired a few benjamin/crossman types and they have terrible triggers.
  4. I'm still confused I guess I am just lucky not to have been scammed this time. Pity that vid was taken down before i got to see it, dont suppose anyone got a copy of it? So....Its 100% confirmed he was a Graham?
  5. I am confused as it is me who bought the 4-14x50 tasco scope off him. Scope is great, came with nice set of mounts. I did have to shim the rear mount by 1mm but that was no problem. Scope is zeroed and is holding zero. Even after i had got the scope and shimed it, kill zone still said if i was not happy he would refund me the money. So is he a Graham? or a know scammer? I was a little confused at first as he said he was selling some tasco sights (plural) to upgrade to mtc scopes, then buys nikko stirling mountmaster 3-9x40 for about £30. Sat here scratching my head
  6. Nice 1 lads. Im sure the troops will be very gratefull, on a seperate note, just got on to your youtube channel, fantastic information and just the kind of information to show family and friends who do understsnd the positive benefits of pest control using airweapons. I would love to get into a little bit of hft myself but atm my only shooting is at the gun club at a fixed 20m. Need to try and find somewhere to practice at different ranges. ATB Roy
  7. You just got another subscriber. Cracking vid, very nice skills by RK on those knives. My big 5 0 on the 20th this month, so I must get me one of those file knives. Cheers ATB Roy
  8. I agree two of the most classic springers. They dont come much better. I would be snapping the TX if i was not picking up a very special custom porky yorky smk78. Always happens to me so take a free bump
  9. upload to youtube and put link here ?
  10. You would probably get a better response if you did pop photos up like greartwhitehunter said, lots people just browse thru not really looking for anything in particular, a nice photo can make all the difference. I signed up to photobucket in 30 seconds, dead easy to use ATB Roy
  11. If it is a pest control job, maybe a larger cal, even .25, best not have too much over penetration. Should not be too hard to get a FAC if its your job. If you will be doing long range work then kill zone is spot on with .177, easier drop compensation
  12. Picking up a new Air rifle next week. Something a little different. A customised smk 78. and here is how it was made http://ukchineseairg...1296.php#151296
  13. Carefull bunny, I would only give phone number out in PM, not forum, never know what kind of abuse you can get
  14. Kept man would be sweet just done 7 days and "HAVE" to work overtime tomorrow. Jag/landrover pay well but they get every last drop out of you
  15. sounds absolutely....sound Would love to have a go at that.Would also love to go parachuting also. have to get a move on, not getting any younger, big 50 this year
  16. Tasco 4-14x50 scope plus mounts just arrived today. Absolute bargain at 35 inc. Post. Mint condition. Would recomend trading with kill zone any time. Cheers again mate.
  17. Nothing the local polish hand car wash cant sort out.
  18. Not so funny at 5am, ice on car and eggs and flower. Better plod than me getting my hands on them. To make it worse, car is few weeks old.
  19. Its worth what you are prepared to pay How much did you pay???
  20. Glad to hear you gun is ok. and nice 1 pianoman, absolute bargain for £30. Never had a gun accident like that, but dropped a few phones. dropped a new htc one after 2 days and smashed the screen... did I have insurance.... of course not DOH
  21. may be a bsa, cant you post a picture ? You may just have crappy mounts. loosen the scope mounts and tighten them up 1 screw a little bit at a time, do the same with the ring screws, dont overdo the ring screws. It is possible that your scope is knackered... or..if you have not shot a springer for a while, you may be holding the rifle too tightly and effecting the point of impact. Try the artilary hold, explained here..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLed_nD5ixA
  22. I am actually in favour of tightening up the law in regards to crossbows. I think they are far too poweful to be held without a FAC/licence. We have had a few brought in to my local gun club as we do archery in a very large indoor range, they just destroyed the targets (foam and straw). They basically just exploded the targets. It is never good to have new legislation brought in to restrict out hobby but we need to make sure that powerful weapons are treated with responsability.
  23. Anyone know if any of the smk co2 rifles can be converted to use a bulk fill system. Just fired a little smk qb78 at the club and thought it was a great little gun for the money. Only problem is 70 shots from 2 x12g cartridges is a little expensive and i have a 6kg bottle of co2
