  16. cheers skot my mate has low mounts hes gonna lend me , might have to go down the 32mm route
  17. as daft as it sounds im trying too keep it looking as standard as possable seen plenty of guns in the 97 stock and i did think of going down that route but i love the lines of the 77 and dont want to spoil the gun
  18. hi folks i got a hw77 a few weeks back the gun is spot on but im having a bugger of a job getting on with the scope to eye placement as the comb is low as hell on these , i recently bought a white tail classic scope for it but had to mount it in a medium mount as it has a 50mm objective lense ,when shooting rested its ok but the minute i have to make a standing or kneeling shot its all to pot , today i picked up a hawke nite-eye 3-9x40 scope from my local gun shop really cheap but will it fit in low mounts as all the low ones i can find say 32mm scope is the fitment for them . if you have man
  19. hi guys i have been shooting on a farm for the best part of 2 years all has been fine till xmas this year ,the farmer asked me just before xmas what would be a good cheap reelable gun for his 16 year old son so he got a bsa meteor . i showed him the basics and off he went , went up to the farm monday and was told i cant shoot in the barns or of their roofs as the little bugger has been swiss cheesing them so how am i meant to get them now i used to come home with about 10 in the bag each time i went up but only got 2 on monday , i have deeks but aint had much luck with them in the past ,
  20. not good mate , best plan is leave well alone for a few months and go back to see the farmer that way he might see its not you out lamping . just get out knocking on door again , its crap when this happens but your not the first and wont be the last that gets messed up by some twat not caring feel bad for you mate
  21. i looked at the scope you have buy the 3.5-10x50 for £103 new off ebay so im not complaining too much and yup she has the 25mm comp tube . think im gonna detune her as after i got home i put her over the chrono and with aa 16 grain pellets she's at 11.84 flb im looking for about the 11 flb but its smooth already so it can only get better
  22. got it 2 weeks ago its a 20 year old and got her for £110 , how does yours get on with the 97 stock as the cheek piece is a bit low with the mount i have too use cause of the 50mm scope
