  1. been shooting hw80s now for the best part of 3 years but im fancying a change but not sure if i would be better getting my .22 tuned by tony at sandwell . in your opinions would i be better getting it tuned or chopping both the 80s in for a walther lgv . my fav has a v-mach kit in it currently and is smooth to shoot and cock but the lure of a new toy keeps my thinking about the walther whats your thoughts heres the after a few hours out
  2. i have a hawke varmint 2.5-10x44 side focus on my hw100kt and is brilliant. half mildot reticule came with lens caps and is real light
  3. hi folks after asking the question about that kit to go for in the .20 i went with a .22 kit from chambers which consists of a standard spring and a plastic top hat and spring guide .to be honest im not too impressed the bottom spring guide rattles about the spring like mad and twanged like mad too . i did the usual and made a inner piston sleeve out of an old coke can and made a sleeve for the rear spring guide too . this did the job spot on theirs now no twang at all .. took her out on one of my shoots to get her zeroed after 3 different pellet brands i found it loves daystate ft,s at 3
  4. i was in your shoes a few months ago but decided not to go for a starter pcp and went for the hw100ks and love it too bits the starter idea didn't appeal too me as i would want to upgrade real quick so did heaps of homework tried shouldering a lot of guns and the hw100ks seemed to fit my frame spot on . everyone will have their own idea of the best rifle but the best one is the gun that fits your frame like a glove just my 2p
  5. its not a 30mm tube and its a 44mm objective bell but my mamba light is spot on and fits my hw80 really well

  9. hi folks this is my first thread , i have been building an hw80 from spare parts and cheap ebay items its almost together now and so far has cost about £ . its currently wearing a hw90 .20 full length barrel , my question is what spring kit for it . my other has a v-mach kit in it which was easy as the gun is a .22 so the non fac .22 kit was fine but am i better with the .177 or the .22 kit for the .20 gun cheers
  10. my missis has the lightning tactical xl ( plastic stocked ) its a great little gun real point able and light , but not the easyest to service but if its sensable money go for it you wont be disappointed
