    And a 13 week old pup isn't a baby no it's a puppy.see how small a pups stomach is why full it with liquid and not wholesome solid food you wean a pup from milk onto solids why then go backward again She doesn't get the milk instead of wholesome solid food. She gets it on top of her 3 meals a day. I don't think there would be any benefit in swapping the milk for a 4th solid meal. It is full of calcium, vitamins, minerals.     i have bred a 8 year old bitch first time she was fine i think if they are fit and healthy enough it's ok they don't lose the instinct to rear pups

    our first season before we started having to go to work we'd do 2 digs a day religiously all through the season most was a waste of time but its how we learnt the ropes the dogs were burnt out before we was we are a bit more selective now mind lol
