Nothing much really, just a saluki with half a brain, not much to ask or is it ?

You say you have paid for the grazing, not the shooting rights. You still need the permission off the land owner to shoot over his / her land.

Tikka Twist Rate Help
delswal replied to DeerhoundLurcherMan's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Well they did DL, but as for when they first made one, no idea. -
The point I am trying to make is the very fact, he got more negative responses than he did positive, and then the free for all started and a mod stepping in and closing the thread before he actually got any help he was asking for. Anyway not really my problem as I can cannot help in the matter. Just trying to point out if a man asks for help, last thing he needs is a lecture first, personally I would have liked to have seen the more experienced flyers help him first, then give him advice on future flying, happy days. It may well be your most hated thing, and you are entitled to your opinion. But the man asked for help in an open forum looking for his lost bird, maybe if he got the help he was looking for in an open forum he would not hesitate in coming back asking for help and advice in the future, but now I am not to sure. But if you did pm him with advice, then good on you. ATB Del

Not that flying hawks in one of my things, but I do like to read from time to time other members interests including this one. The man came on asking for help to find his hawk, granted he got the obvious answers from the more experienced falconers or what seems to be the more experienced. But none actually gave him any advice on what to do next in helping finding his sons bird. Now through this experience next time hopefully he may take on board what some have suggested, i.e. don't fly without telemetry. But that is not actually helping him now. But reading through the thread what

so where do you rate Lenny McLean ? Could he have went far in the pro game? Lennie was near unbeatable without gloves....with gloves he probably wouldnt of made it as a pro, particularly when you think Johnny Waldron knocked him out in the first round twice and he was only a southern area title standard light heavyweight.....Lennie was a fearsome fighting man but he wasnt a boxer. was he ever defeated bare knuckle? Have you ever heard of any pros going into the bare scene and doing well? Yes the first time he fought pretty boy shaw he got beat

Anyone Wait For Perfect Conditions ??
delswal replied to whitefeet4190's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Everyone to they own, but I never used to sit around waiting for the perfect night, even a still night and big moon can produce, and it gets your dog out. You never know what will tun up on what night until you get out there and have a look. -
Nope. I don't know a court date...it's Dymented that said he had a court date and as for being a nosy twunt. Dymented stopped posting on the other forum months ago, so it faded away and we all forgot about it. He brought it back up and that is when I realised something was wrong. Honestly, I don't need you to believe me, it makes no difference to me. But ask yourselves why I am so damn sure about things being not as they seem. I've admitted when I've got things wrong, I've apologised when I've made mistakes....but I still stand by my conviction that you should all take the blinkers off

You have just told us youre a grass....and then expect people to trust you....Wrong,un No...I just told you that I am open enough to not be a backstabber...If I'm going to talk about someone, I'll at least tell them and give them right to reply. or maybe we have all got you wrong, and your just a plain old attention seeking crack pot, if you have no connection to the rspca or the police or dymented and your not involved in a legal way , how can you jeopardise the case by voicing your own opinion and sharing your thoughts on here, because if you are none of the above you cannot poss

nobody has said theyre waiting for the perfect conditions. Its only hard ground people are complaining about not imperfect conditions. And personally I think a small whippet x is far less likely to injure itself on hard ground. My littelun touchwood has never had anything other than a knocked toe and ill run him on almost anything No but you did say earlier, about putting little value on your dog and running it on hard ground if its like concrete, i would never make such a comment about how another man values his dogs nor would expect anybody to say the same about me or mine, i know what my

For whats its worth, I've ran dogs on hard ground, plough and frost, if a fox can run on it, then a good strong lurcher can race it, suffered injuries? yes, and my dogs have suffered injuries running in grass fields what i thought was the perfect conditions, feck me they have injured themselves in the past running on the beach sh*t happens. Take the deerhound for example, bred to run deer, for miles sometimes, the terrain they run will never be the same they could quite easily cover marsh, grass fields woods and plough in a single run. The very same could apply to them thick skulled saluk

Shooting the elephant with a bow is about one thing and one thing only bragging rights, like it or hate it, wether it was a cull animal or a trophy maybe even both the fact is in the eyes of this hunter he has no doubt achieved the ultimate bragging rights. How many of us on here have ( when it was legal of course) took out our lurcher and ran 5-6 foxes a night, maybe an odd deer in the mix daytime of course. (all legal) just like the man with the bow(legal) I know have, and why? for bragging rights and the joy of hunting. Now when I done this many, many years ago, yes I am knocking on a

If anybody on here who did not hunt in anyway shape or form, nor eat meat complained about that video i would respect their comments, but as somebody who hunts purely for fun, i don't think i have room to pass judgement or take any moral ground with anybody else's hunting methods, especially after what I've seen my dogs do years ago, and all in the name of fun and sport.

Were do you think revenue for game reserves come from ? selling key rings and postcards, granted you may not like what you see, but one way or another that bull was earmarked to be culled, with either a rifle or a bow. The chances are the bowman stumped up enough cash for the cull, sick to kill for money ?????????????? I kill deer and fox purely because i enjoy it and i can do it legally, does that make me worse than him??…….and i give nothing back. But i would like to know how long that bull took to die or was it finished off with a rifle and the video edited?hard to believe it was ta

My nephew has just offered me a Logan solo .22 fitted with a logan silencer, scopes are whitetail classics 1.5x5x20 stock is reasonable condition, few scratches but nothing serious. No pitting on barrel or other metal work. He said he does not want a great amount for it, so don't really want to short change him or better still rob myself lol. Anybody got a rough idea of the value of these cheers………Del
