  6. I think rats are probably my favourite too... i get a buzz just seeing them, unlike any other animal... I quite like partridge, although i dont see too many of them, alive...

  8. Do you think you could leave the basket bit off, and just have the hooks to place to poles into...?
  9. I reckon the corners against the mesh are too exposed... let them choose a corner... which ever one they like... then just stick the litter tray there... when you put the litter tray into place put a bit of dirty litter in it... and you should be fine...
  10. my large(ish) hobs can slip through 2" weld mesh with relative ease... I reckon they could squeeze through something a fair bit smaller, so can only imagine the gaps a little jill could squeeze her body through...
  11. dry mostly... but raw whenever i can get hold of something suitable... chicken wings quite often also...
  12. looks smart. I'd have stuck the mesh on the inside of the frame thats one thing i wish i'd done on mine... stops the ferrets scratching the preserver off...
  13. A Friend of mine has a couple of hob ferrets, who he regularly takes for walks, they seem to quite enjoy it, but they just go wherever the hell want to...
  14. i have mine in a hutch, with a run below, they seem happy enough, its a good compromise in my eyes if you dont have much space or money...
  15. I'd say polecats are about the closest animal which are truely wild, although feral ferrets are far from uncommon...
  16. you dont always need masses of land to take alot of foxes.. there will always be another to take the shot ones place... so large numbers can be taken easily on the right piece of land...

  19. Has anyone bought anything from chambers gunmakers recently...? The spares seem a good price, i was quoted £17 for a mainspring from airgunspares.com ... they want £5....
  20. yes, you just change the strap, you can buy replacement straps from deben... unless its the terrier specific locator...
  21. that is f*****g awesome... I pm'd a scanned article out of an old shooting times to a couple of members on here... but have since lost the magazines, does anyone still have it, i would like to read it again....
