    Thanks, we got the first one finished today without to much problem.... we almost used 2 ton of ballast as it is... hoping to get the second one layed over the weekend... If i ever have to do it again you'll have a job... its a f*****g nightmare when you dont have a clue what your doing... but i'm learning fast....

    how much is a ton in cu.m then...? I think we would have been ok if the hardcore layer had been leveller(?)... but as it stood it ended up as a f**k up.... lol .... were gonna put a layer of scalpings, or whatever, in the base of the other, so we dont make the same mistake twice....!

    that was a crock of shite, started to lay one this after noon, bought 1ton of ballast and ten bags of cement, the ballast ran out about 2/3 of the way through.... bollocks... ....

    Shotgun certificated are relatively "easy" to get, the police have to prove why you shouldn't have one...

    5 ply hemp i think... H&J Yeh i did make them myself, a shaped net is made by starting of with fewer loops on the ring, where they arent needed, then adding meshes to the desired size in the middle of the net, where they are most important... It allows you to make wider or longer nets, but without wasting materials....
