  1. There’s a lot of clips on YouTube. Them boys are living the life, makes me wish I’d emigrated.
  2. Always good to see a grey getting nailed! Are they much risk to the bird? I’ve had dogs get a nasty bite off them.
  3. Shot a little bit with steel last season. I think the general consensus was to go up a shot size, so 5’s instead of 6’s, or 4’s instead of 5’s.
  4. You have to get off the carbs. I have several friends/family members who have got T2D under control by eating a keto diet. A couple even got there marker to below a pre-diabetic range. there’s lots of information about following a keto diet available now as it’s very popular, even GP’s will suggest a low carb diet now.
  5. Those walnuts look good, nice find for you to remember.
  6. paint the f****r. you'll have it done in 6 months easily!
  7. have you picked him up yet? looking forward to following his season.
  8. Bloody kids on the Sur-Ron’s are a bit of a pain in the arse around here. Always had kids riding motorbikes around out the back here where I walk the dogs. You could hear when they were out and give it a miss, but on the bloody electric ones they are on top of you before you know it. look like a laugh though!
  9. Steamer in our house, much better flavour.
  10. While since I’ve had a Tuesday night steak club, mixed grill and a pint for a tenner.
  11. Get a few hens. You’ll soon have a few hanging around.
  12. I have a couple of bladetech sharpeners, one on my keys and one in the kitchen drawer, easy to keep a keen edge on all sorts. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blade-Tech-Bladetech-Tungsten-Sharpener/dp/B00622FTLU/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=VQTGZQEGQNPS&keywords=blade+tech+sharpener&qid=1662189166&sprefix=bladetech%2Caps%2C55&sr=8-3
  13. You just want a victorinox chefs knife. I bet that’s what you’d find at work in most commercial kitchens all over. https://www.kitchenknives.co.uk/victorinox-fibrox-20cm-chefs-knife-extra-broad-blade-5206320/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw08aYBhDlARIsAA_gb0cj2n5WeCrY6T4ZPoroKfHWW52Jj-dptgBe24cEwLVg0E-_j4mOHPQaAlKwEALw_wcB
  14. You just need to buy an actual chefs knife not a paring knife. Chefs knife will have a deeper heel so you can chop with it. also pinch the back of the blade with you thumb and index finger.
  15. What’s the recipe for the pasties? They look mega!
  16. I’d need a handrail to get back along there half-cut! Suppose a swim would sober me up quick enough.
  17. Looks like a vizsla with prick ears.
  18. It’s a shame this is not a more popular sport. If I lived the other end of the country it’s something I would try to get involved with.
  19. Couple of productive hours at the other plot. Spuds and onions are going alright. Sowed runners, dwarf beans and some peas, then continued the battle with the bindweed, grass and dandelions.
  20. Been flat out with one thing or another, but finally made a start on the new plot. A dozen ‘no dig’ beds in the last couple of days. Just need to get them planted now, got seed and plug plants everywhere!
  21. I hardly know anyone that uses a flask anymore. I use an old Stanley one and it goes all over with me. If I pre-warm it the contents are still hot enough to drink 24hrs later. I have a large French press coffee maker that fills my flask and a cup for the wife. Lots of good hot coffee for pennies.
