I first met Willie through his involvelment with the Canlender Coursing Club about eight years ago, although I heard of him long before our first introduction. Willie was well known for his running dogs, such as, Scouser, Spindles, Salty, Brag, Roxy, Ink, Midnight and of course the famous Sooner. Leave this to my mam willys sister dodo.WILLY was born at haydock in a trailor on dec 10th 1947 and was fetched up in leigh lancs. He was big on running lurchers all his life because his father was also a very respected cousing man. From being a young man, willy was involved with coursing and breeding dogs and only wanted the best, we believe he got his wish.
