    there was a spell of kennel cough going around the village and i was one of the unlucky ones whos bitch caught it. I thought i had done my research for a stud dog well, didnt think i would have any problems thought it was a one off until other people pmd me saying they were having the same problems. I am just going to live and learn and hopefully the next time will be better.

    Hi there my bitch did not catch kennel cough when pregnant with pups she got it three weeks after giving birth do not get me wrong she was still feeding them . look mate i have had pms from 2 other people who had the same problems off the same lines 1 man cant sell his pups the other had to get two put down for the same reasons .

    hi there in response to your comment i wasnt mouthing of if you had read my post you would see i was asking for advice as i have never had that problem with pups before i.e lab pups. I did get in touch with the guy that had the stud dog and i felt as if he was trying to blame the problem on something i did. I actually got on well the the guy but after speaking to him, he hasnt helped in any way still out of pocket and nothing to show for it. How would you feel if it was your kids that had lost there pups.

    sorry to hear about the pups mate is he still using the dog at stud. i m gutted mate a lot of time money and effort wasted and nowt to show for it .

    HI folks im looking for a little advice if you can possibly help plz ,anyway i mated my border terrier x lakeland bitch to a well known stud dog i was trying to improve my lines was only looking for little ratting dogs to be honest and tidy my lines up i went to the best possible line i could get in england and the dog serviced mt bitch no bother. anyway my girl had 3 puppies and were ok at birth until 3 weeks old when there eyes opened my friend said they dont look right hes bred dogs for many years and has never seen it before they were very cloudy blue colour at 4 weeks they could hardly o
