    Stick them in the freezer for 6 months thaw them out when you get back,kryojenics I think it's called,I keep mine in the second draw next to the sprouts,failing that sell them or find some one you can trust to loan them to.

    Great bits of kit if you havnt got the skill to work dogs or havnt access to decent dogs,biggest fans of rifles and all the tech that goes with it are failed dog men jmho,pest controlers and profit hunters will also get good use out of it.

    I've bought a brand new hw90k I had one 15 years ago problem free not had an air rifle for a long time I needed one so I bought another.problem is it shoots lovely for a few shots then they start going all over the place ,now do I invest in a dampner mount or just give in and get a PCP.

    Looks fine to me doesn't matter how big a kennel is a dog will only lie down in one corner anyway,think a lot of people have a big kennelfeeling guilty about never exercising the poor b*****ds,at a couple of local kennels seen the hounds laying over each other not a problem as they get loads of exercises,

    Smashed isnt a word i would use,as for stories of the little yappers saving the day as the game dog skulks away with his tail between his legs wonderfull lovely story, read that type of thing loads of times but in reality very rarely works out that way,but back to authors i like dave harcombe as an author like his style and his views on what a working terrier should be capable of.I dont know if you are after causing controversy or if you are just bored but your style of writeing and the language you use gives me the impression you are not realy that great a fan of working terriers, unless ther

    Bit hypocritical demanding honesty and yet decrying images of marked up terriers,personally I love a terrier that gets close up and personal scars and working injuries go hand in hand with hard work and getting results we don't all live in country where foxes bolt asap,as for books for me its harcombe or nothing I enjoy his style of writing,funny how its generally jack Russell fans that get on their soap boxes when it comes to hard work and marked up dogs.

    Ive got a few chickens at top of the garden rats being an ever Present problem ive always have a couple of fenns set in tunnels ,some timesi bait the tunnels ,anyay checked the traps this morning 1 was empty but to my delight the other had caught but not one not two but three half grown rats ,normaly its through the winter months that i catch most regularly at most 1 a fortnight so wasvsuprised to have made this catch and cant see myself repeating it.

    Used to travel up to Bristol coalpit heath to a small run bird poultry sale don't think it happens now ,any body reccomend any smallish monthly or annual poultry sales,around south or southwest England.
