Not a .22 but ive just got a bsa scorpion se camo in .177 with an hw mod and ive never shot such a quiet gun. It even had people comment on how quiet it is at my local range yesterday.

Ive got both and I have to admit after years of being a tx200 devotee , I now prefer the 97kt I have no real idea why its just better ;-)

Hello all I had a quick look at the Walther Terrus today and even had a couple of shots with it and I have to say im impressed The trigger feels great and it has a nice refined firing cycle . It looks like a light weight gun with loads of potential to me . I quite like the stock design ( I think ) and overall its only let down by the finish prior to blueing . You can forgive this though , because at £239 its a bargain . I might treat myself to one of these . Has anyone else had any experience of Walthers new break barrel ?

Hi all. I went for a shoot at the newly opened Springview Ranges on Saturday where you can try your gun out to 120yrds. I normally take all my springers , but on this occasion I just took my two 97s. Both guns are superbly accurate but on this occasion it was my .22 synthetic that shone brightest. After hitting drawing pins at 40 yrds with ease , I decided to push it out to 60m (65yrds ) . Once I'd worked out my mil dots, I managed a 10 shot group of about 25mm with 8 of the shots all touching in a tight cluster. This was using H&N FTT and the gun runs at 11.4 FT/lb. PCP accuracy from a

Hello mate The .20 is superb ! I'm not sure why this cal is not more popular. Using H&N FTT its very accurate. Not quite as good as my 97kt .177 , but not far off. 30yrd groups covered by 5p ( if I'm on form ) . How do you find it ??

My favourite changes regularly :-) at the moment it's the hw97kt .177 ( wooden one ) . The hw95 is a .20 and probably is the best all rounder . The black 97kt is a.22 . My first .22 for about 20yrs and I'm amazed at its one hole accuracy. The tx200 is .177 and spot on , although I'd say not as easy to shoot as the 97kt. As you can see , I'm besotted with them all.

I've been shooting since I was 13yrs old and in that time I've always believed that you should only own one gun at a time. You should do all your shooting with that one gun and learn everything there is to know about the one gun. I've owned spring guns , gas rams and pcp's from most manufacturers but only ever one at a time. Fast forward over 30 years and look whats happened. I started with a tx200hc , which I got after a break from shooting for about a year. I then saw a used hw95 which after spending over twice what it would cost new having it tuned , reblued and restocked , I could never

Whats Better Airarms S200 Or Hw97K
Jasglo68 replied to ahegarty's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I've bought two 97s recently and they both have a tuned feel to them. Both deadly accurate and reassuringly heavy :-) -
Really ?? And if that's true , I'd pay another £15 on top of a new 97kt price to have it factory fitted. They manage it on the wooden version as I said.

Hello all I've just fitted a Bisley adjustable butt pad to my HW97kt. It cost £15 and took about half an hour . So my question is , why can't Weihrauch do it if I can ?? They manage it on the wood stocked version , so why not on the synthetic ?? It makes the gun look better and handle better , so why wouldn't they ?? Any ideas Cheers

Cheers all Ordered sportsmatch mounts. Being delivered tomorrow. Good excuse to spend the day at my local range :-)

Got the sight today. Went for the map6a ret. Very fine stadia as you said and nice and uncluttered. The blue illumination is fantastic against dark backgrounds.

Hello I've just purchased a Hawke Panorama 4-12x50 for my 97kt. I've used hawke mounts but on closer inspection they seem to lean to the left. I have zeroed the sight but I'm worried about crossover at longer ranges. So my question is , what are your recommended mounts for a hw97kt ???????????????

As Si has already stated the 95 makes you work for your groups as it can be very hold sensitive due to the light weight, I also don't think the length of the barrel helps either! This one does handle really well. Just a slight nudge at the shoulder and pcp accuracy. Not too hold sensitive but maybe the steel silencer and stock help that. Here's another pic. Sorry but I do like a bit of gun porn now and again :-)

My 95 I nothing short of fantastic !!! I've had the barrel shortened and recrowned , a slimline silencer added. It's been reblued to a mirror finish . It's in a cs500 stock that I've reshaped and added a rosewood tip on the grip and an adjustable butt pad. It's been tuned by Airmasters and I think it's as good as an hw95 can be ( but I am biased ) . Oh , and its got a Rowan set back trigger . I'll never get my money back on it , but I'd never sell it so never mind :-)
