  8. Kay, please excuse my ignorance but do your catterpillars feed on fushias ? i have many fushias in my garden but have never seen anything eating them. ALB Rich.

Your spot on J darcy the bird is feeding at the moment, he visits my feeder every few minutes now, as for marsh or willow tit i'm not sure but i thought the marsh tit was a bit more of an acrobat and they live near woodland and not marshland, anyway always nice to see a new visitor in the garden. I hope to get another picture in the near future when he is looking a bit better, he certainly looks knackered at the moment but that's not suprising as this tiny bird does not stop. ALB Rich.

  12. Thanks for that Bullmastiff, i would have gone for noctule until reading they hunt high in the air. These bats were much bigger than the ones i see around my area possibly twice the size, but the habitat is certanly right . ALB Rich.
  13. I visited a friends caravan at the weekend and was amazed at the size of the bats we watched, these bats must have been almost blackbird size. There was a lot of flying beetles out and these bats were having a field day, anyone got any ideas what species they are ? Shropshire area , i would guess the nearest roosting site would be a pine forest . Ta, Rich.

  16. Hi Dawn. got mine today from amazon , canon et - 60 can't believe the difference in price anything from £7 - £21. It fits great as you say reversed on the lens and also fits in the lowepro lens bag, do they make a lot of difference ? all the best , Rich.
  17. Thanks for the replies guys, I have opted for a Lowepro Orion Trekker , went out with dog and camera saturday just for a bit of a mooch, very pleased with the new bag.

Hello all, i got my 400d at christmas but i have not had chance to get out with it yet, so how about if you lucky people who have, post some of your best wildlife pictures so i can see whats possible to achieve. Any info on how pictures were taken "settings" etc would be gratefully appreciated. All the best Rich.
