  7. I got one of these for my 400d cost me £12.50 from ebay http://www.bluecranedigital.com/ worth every penny , good luck and i look forward to seeing some of your pics. Rich.
  8. Kay, please excuse my ignorance but do your catterpillars feed on fushias ? i have many fushias in my garden but have never seen anything eating them. ALB Rich.
  9. Your spot on J darcy the bird is feeding at the moment, he visits my feeder every few minutes now, as for marsh or willow tit i'm not sure but i thought the marsh tit was a bit more of an acrobat and they live near woodland and not marshland, anyway always nice to see a new visitor in the garden. I hope to get another picture in the near future when he is looking a bit better, he certainly looks knackered at the moment but that's not suprising as this tiny bird does not stop. ALB Rich.
  10. Spotted this new visitor to the feeder and got a quick shot of him atb Rich.
  11. I found this single poppy on the edge of a field of wheat. alb Rich.
  12. Thanks for that Bullmastiff, i would have gone for noctule until reading they hunt high in the air. These bats were much bigger than the ones i see around my area possibly twice the size, but the habitat is certanly right . ALB Rich.
  13. I visited a friends caravan at the weekend and was amazed at the size of the bats we watched, these bats must have been almost blackbird size. There was a lot of flying beetles out and these bats were having a field day, anyone got any ideas what species they are ? Shropshire area , i would guess the nearest roosting site would be a pine forest . Ta, Rich.
