  1. I have three scopes and wanted to get a thermal clip on that would cover all three Bought a Leica Calonox. They could only attach the unit to one of my scopes as they only do three sizes in adaptors, so its been returned. Had the same problem with the Zeiss DTC3/38, not enough size range on the adaptors. So it would appear that the InfiRay CH50 Clip C is my next stop, as they have a wide range of adaptors. John DAUNTSEY are getting one or two in for me to try. Has anyone out there got a InfiRay CH50 Clip C. Id be interested to know how your getting on with it before
  2. When I had mine, it was on a Leupold VX3 1.43-14 x 50 and it was fantastic. Scope has to be parallax adjustable, which this was
  3. Load of bullshit protocols to go through first probably. Everyone shouting 'get back' so they can be seen to be giving him a chance to stop. So concerned about being filmed and prosecuted that they gave him TOO many chances, and looked what happened.
  4. I got a 72"x2" belt grinder for knifemaking, but I'm finding it hard to get my bevel lines straight. I've resorted to hand filing now on a homemade jig, which give me excellent grind lines, but as you say, sweaty work. The forge scale is hard to get off the bevels too. Massive learning curve knifemaking
  5. Don't have to stabilise the wood if its teak. Pretty dense that stuff, Nice knife.
  6. Morning guys I have been knifemaking now for about six months and after the wounds had healed (no on told me it was safer to wear gloves) I decided I would like to join the UK Blades forum so I didn't kill myself. I'm having a problem getting through their verification system or e mailing them. Is anyone, or does know a member on there that is, or could contact an administrator to sort me out. Thanks for your help Skully

  12. Until recently, my 22 Anschutz had a 8x56 Nikko Sterling on the top, which was accurate, but failed at night when I lost the crosshairs when the background was dark. So I bought a Nikko Stirling Diamond variable with an illuminated reticule. I zeroed it at 12x which worked fine, but when I backed it off to 8x, it wasn't a case of it moving the point of impact slightly, the shot completely missed the rabbit! I appreciate that variables are known for moving at different mags, but this much cant be right I've been on the lookout for a fixed power scope 8,9 or 10x with an illuminated reticu
